FASHION’S NIGHT OUT
My new assistant, Adelle, and I had a great time at Fashion's Night Out at The Shops at La Cantera!
Adelle is wearing one of my all-time favorite necklaces, "Pegasus" from Stella & Dot (I have the same one) and I'm wearing a faux leather dress from Armani Exchange that Adelle dubbed "Biker Ballerina"
I also got to take my new Tasha feather headband out for a spin! Click on photo to buy one that is similar.
STELLA & DOT
After hearing so much about Stella & Dot from so many different people, I finally decided to take the plunge and really look over the goods. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first. I am inherently repelled by home sales business models and anything remotely resembling a pyramid scheme. BUT, Stella & Dot is different. No scheme. No pressure. No pyramid. Just fabulous, affordable jewelry!
Here are a few of my favorite pieces:
I ordered this necklace and can't tell you how many complements I get when I wear it. Simply put, it's stunning!

Stylist Jen Sullivan sent me this mixed metal, cocktail ring that I adore. What is great about mixed metal is its versatility. You can rock your favorite gold or silver earrings...and not worry about coordinating.

Jen also sent this really pretty, charm necklace. It's perfect for a teen or a woman who wants a subtle, everyday pendant necklace. You can throw it on with everything from a T-shirt to a silk blouse.

And, lastly, I haven't seen this one in person, but I am thinking about ordering it. Spring is going to be all about bold bling and bright colors. This necklace would be a great way to add a little pizazz to your spring 2012 wardrobe.

If you haven't heard of "Stella & Dot," I can pretty much guarantee someone in your circle will be talking about it soon.
It is like Avon or Mary Kay reinvented for this generation.
Several of my old college friends are selling this stuff like hot-cakes and it's easy to see why---It's fun, affordable and on trend!
I like the pendant necklaces with a real vintage-y feel. You can wear these unique pieces alone or layer them with other necklaces.
Check out the "Clover Key Necklace" ($54) and the "Aimee Locket Necklace" ($79).
I also love the $79 dollar gold, chain-link bracelet, "Stella Vintage Link," (Chain-link was featured in Vogue a couple of months ago.)
Don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself. Here's the link to the website (& my friend Jen's page) - http://www.stelladot.com/sites/jsullivan/
