Plaid reminds me so much of the 90’s.
I used to LIVE in plaid shirts, ripped jean shorts, scrunched wool socks… and hiking boots.
Can you picture it? I can’t.
Seriously? Who was I?
That seems like a different person… and a lifetime ago.
It’s truly amazing how much your style evolves and changes as you change.
If you take one quick fashion tour on Instagram, you know plaid is back in a big way!
It is also sticking around for spring!!
You’ll see plaids in lots of beautiful bold colors and soft, lovely pastel colors too.

I bought this scarf. I am impressed with how soft it is and how affordable it is.
It is also a great size that is easy to wrap (not too thick and big).

You know I love sleeveless coats.
This one is really pretty with the blue and tan shades.

I bought a plaid dress this year and have worn it a bunch on the weekends. Easy breezy.
It’s for those days when you have no time, but still want to look pulled together.

I don’t always want to tailor my pants…so sometimes it’s nice to buy petite length.
I wear these with a black turtleneck or white button down and black blazer.
Checked Skirt \\ Chicwish
I’m sure you’ll remember this skirt. I bought it a while ago from Chicwish.
I wear it with a fitted top and a leather jacket. I also like it with a fitted black off-shoulder top.

I just saw this when I was searching for plaid pieces. I thought it was quite sweet…and affordable!

I bought this one this year and wore it recently with skinny jeans and a striped, lightweight knit and knee-high boots.
