Five Holiday Party Outfit Ideas | Fashion Blogger Erin Busbee in Telluride, Colorado, wearing all white, fuzzy white aqua sweater from bloomingdales, white milly hayden pants and carrying Celine mini belt bag

#1 | All White

This all white look is one of my favorites. You can make it look even more sleek and refined by wearing a fitted white turtleneck or silky blouse.
The fluffy sweater creates a bit more of a casual look. These pants by Milly run large. I’m wearing size 0.

#2 | Burgundy Separates

This look above is great for everything from Sunday mass to dinner to holiday parties.
The skirt runs large. I am wearing a size 2, but should have ordered 0.
Plan to wear a cape or wrap over bubble sleeve sweater as the sleeves are thick.

Five Holiday Party Outfit Ideas | Fashion Blogger Erin Busbee in Telluride, Colorado, wearing red ruffle shoulder dress from Nordstrom, by Felicia & Co and layered pearl necklace

#3 | Red Dress

This sheath dress is one of my favorites. It’s made out of ponte knit which doesn’t really wrinkle and is ideal for travel.
I also love the conservative length and ruffle detailing at the sleeve. Add a waist belt for more shape.
I’m wearing a size small.

  1. Hi Erin, Thank you again for some great ideas and links to the items shown. I just picked up the pearl necklace, which I’ve seen you share in a number of looks. This video reminded me to ask if at some point you’d consider doing a “winter date night” lookbook/suggestions. I find this to be particularly challenging because I live in a colder climate and I’m always freezing!! How can I put together something a little bit sexy when I want to get out with my husband but still feel (kinda) warm? Really appreciate your blog and videos!!

    1. This is a GREAT idea! I was just thinking of a winter lookbook and throwing in a date night look makes perfect sense! I hear you, who wants to be cold…but at same time, you want to look like you put in some effort! Erin xo

  2. Hi Erin,
I love all three looks but that burgundy one..WOW. You know I am going to comment on your hair being a stylist. That burgundy outfit, especially the skirt with your hair curled like that made me think of the beautiful ladies in the older movies who just killed it with style. I loved the all white look , also. I think I am too old and not small enough to pull off all white, but love it. I so wish I could wear big tall heels again. You look adorable in that killer red dress but you soften it up with the darling nice hat. Hugs Rita….
You have taught me a lot.
