March Favorites
In the VIDEO above, I walk you through my March favorites! This month, I feature a great mix of some fun finds including a chic handbag, activewear, a beautiful palm print dress, and more!
The Pretty Dish
The first thing on my list of March favorites is something I’m very excited to share with you. This cookbook by my virtual friend Jessica Merchant is so cool! I found out about her because she actually recommended me on her site, How Sweet Eats. Jessica is incredibly talented and creative and such a great woman. You can really tell that this cookbook is a labor of love. Her Instagram is so artistic, creative, and beautiful. Even if you don’t love to cook this could be a great gift for someone or just look really pretty on your kitchen counter. Something interesting about this book is that it also has cool beauty recipes for lip balms, hair masks, and more!
Outdoor Voices Activewear
I recently ordered some activewear from Outdoor Voices and it gets a big thumbs up from me! The fabric is very lightweight. You don’t get hot and sweaty in it so it’s very functional and it’s also cute! You can see the three tone gray leggings and tank I bought in the video above. It holds everything in, isn’t too heavy, easy to work out in, and it’s right in line with other activewear brands on the price point.
Henri Bendel Handbag
As you know, I’m a HUGE Henri Bendel fan. They recently sent me their spring lookbook and let me pick out a piece I thought I’d love. So I picked this chic structured mini gray bag. It looks like the Givenchy design. I love this gray color…it’s neutral and versatile. Plus it’s a great size! Now that the kids are getting older I don’t have to carry around a ton of stuff so I can use this smaller bag. Like everything Henri Bendel sells, this bag is thoughtfully designed, chic, and functional!
Sleeveless Trench Coat
Next on my list of March favorites is something I saw from my friend Angie of Hot and Flashy. She did a spring lookbook and featured this sleeveless trench by A New Day from Target. It’s a really chic, fresh, fun option. Plus it’s super affordable!
Lavender Bardot Dress
The next piece I want to show you is this dress (above) by Bardot. Bardot dresses are usually around $100 to $120. They always fit me perfectly, and they are really beautiful. Whenever a brand works for you, make sure check that line frequently. I already have this dress in blue (pictured) so I bought it in lavender…the ‘it’ color of spring. The dress is the perfect mix of sexy and sweet… and a great option for a spring wedding!
Vince Camuto Lace-Up Blazer
You may remember that for the past two years I’ve gone to the Reward Style blogger conference in April. I got invited again this year. Yay! But, there is a lot of pressure to look good because you’re around a ton of fashion bloggers. It’s kind of like the Oscars for fashion bloggers. I definitely plan my outfits for it, and budget to buy some new things. I featured this Vince Camuto blazer on in a post and I really love it. It has the cool corset lace up detail in the back, which helps it fit your body even better. Then I went ahead and ordered the matching tapered pants in petite and they are PERFECT! So I’m going to wear this suit during the day while I’m meeting with brands. I want to look stylish, but professional. Plus, it’s chilly inside!
Pam & Gela Striped Pants
I love these cool, edgy striped pants by Pam & Gela. I’ll probably wear these on the plane to Dallas for the blogger conference. They’re fresh, but also comfortable.
Palm Print Dress
The last piece of my March favorites I wanted to show you is this dress I bought from a boutique in Telluride called Two Skirts. It’s a halter neck, palm print, maxi dress by Milly. There’s a modesty panel in the front that you can unbutton and take off to wear it with a plunging neckline. It is perfect for our trip to Hawaii! It could be a really special dress for a beach wedding or any upcoming trips you may have. There’s also a matching swimsuit!

Thank you SO much for stopping by!
Erin, you look stunning in the lavender dress. It is so beautiful with your complexion and the matte lipstick is perfect on you. I love you in the deep red lipstick too.
Thanks so much, Vicki. I just bought a new ‘red’ lip set that I’m planning on featuring in a mother’s day roundup. Excited to bust out the red again! Erin xo
Hi Erin-
I just discovered you site and I LOVE it! I am a fellow Coloradan so that makes it even more fun. I love the Bardot dress and want to order it from Nordstrom but I am trying to figure out the size. How tall are you? I am 5″7 with a slim build.
Thanks!
Beth
I am 5’4″ tall… I am wearing an XS. I normally wear XS or Small. The length is midi length on me, so on you, it would likely be more like knee length. You’ll love this! Erin xo
