All From JCPenney…
No matter what the season, I love to incorporate neutrals into my wardrobe. It’s so easy to get pulled into only wearing black and grays this time of the year. I always try to lighten things up with some winter neutrals. All of these picks are perfect to wear now and they will also easily transition into spring.
Oh…and I buried the lead, everything is UNDER $50!
#1 | Twist Front Top
I’d wear this casual look out to run errands. The top is a great example of a modern basic. It’s a long-sleeve white tee, but the twist in the front gives it a little extra something. It looks great alone or layered under light jackets and blazers. You could throw a moto jacket over it and be ready for dinner.
Another way to lighten up your wardrobe is to wear some light wash jeans. I’m a huge fan of basic dark wash denim, but it’s nice to mix things up too. These jeans feel modern to me becuase of the stiffer denim and straight leg. The wash also makes them fresh.
#2 | Reversible Jacket
Next, I wanted to show you all this cool, lightweight, puffer jacket. It’s reversible! One side is a water resistant fabric and the other is fleece! Both sides are cute and stylish. And you know I love a good two-for-one! The jacket is also ONLY $23 from JCPenney!! I know…shocking. JCPenney has the greatest deals!!
I styled the fleece side with the top from look one (above) for a more casual look. For a slightly dressier look, I threw on a cool white gray cable knit sweater and draped the jacket over my shoulders. I think it’s really chic! I wore both looks with the same jeans from the first look. Wear sneakers to dress it down or booties to dress it up!

#3 | Lace-Up Sweater
I really love this last look because it’s so easy! It’s three pieces. Jeans, a sweater, and shoes! I’m wearing the same light wash jeans and white booties from the first looks paired with this modern lace-up pullover. The lace-up front and ribbed detailing make the sweater a little different. Plus, it’s LONG so it covers up your behind! You could wear it with leggings too.
HUGE thank you to JCPenney for sponsoring this post. I only partner with brands and businesses that I love.
