Thanks for all these great suggestions! I’m currently using Trinny London products. She has a great range of skincare products backed by science (she has her own lab in England) with great peptides, retinals, vitamin C, etc. Her make up range is also fantastic for mature skin since it’s all cream based. Her BFF, a skin perfector has an SPF 30 and is a great light foundation that leaves a great glow on your skin. You can check them all out at trinnylondon.com

Ok, hear me out, this is controversial – I love Jones Road WTFoundation. There, I said it! My skin is so dry, I layer it very lightly with a foundation brush after I let my sunscreen sink in for a bit, and I swear even if blemishes are showing, I either don’t notice them or I can easily cover them with concealer. It’s a beautiful product. The trick is to not slather it on, and to use it with powder blush and bronzer. I never use it with the Miracle Balms, I use those when I don’t wear foundation, and I place translucent powder where I don’t want to “glow” (like under the eyes, nose, chin). It has a learning curve, but since conquering that, I’ve regretted every time I try to use a different product. I’ve hit pan and I’m sure I’ll buy another one.
