BY FAR…my favorite AFFORDABLE cashmere sweaters are AQUA cashmere sweaters from Bloomingdale’s! The prices are incredible and every single sweater is thoughtfully designed with at least one modern or unique detail. I just got a new camouflage print cashmere sweater by Aqua that you’re going to love!
And, you can often snag these sweaters for an obscenely low price (for cashmere) when they are on sale! Speaking of SALES… Bloomingdale’s is having an amazing sale right now! Details are below.

Camo Cashmere Sweater
All of the AQUA sweaters are so soft, luxe… and again the price is AMAZING! They’re almost always on sale, which makes them super affordable. They last a long time AND they wash and wear well. I wash mine in cold water with a gentle detergent in the gentle cycle and lay flat to dry.
The newest addition to my Aqua sweater collection is this gorgeous military green camo sweater! I love the print. I also have the same sweater in black and gray. The sweater is thin enough you can tuck or half-tuck it or leave it out. For a slightly roomier fit, order your traditional size (I’m wearing small). If you want a more fitted look, size down.
You can check out all the Aqua cashmere sweaters here.

Button Fly Jeans
I paired the sweater with some of my favorite high waisted ankle jeans by J Brand. They’re called the Natasha jeans and have super cool exposed buttons in the front and on the hips. They’re also SO flattering creating curves or highlighting curves. Since I’m petite (5’4”), I love that they’re ankle length too. It makes them easy to pair with any kind of shoe. I have these jeans in a few colors/washes and love them all! They also come in non-cropped options for all my tall ladies!

Golden Goose Sneakers
I finished off the look with some Golden Goose sneakers. Unfortunately, my exact color combo is sold out but I linked another option, plus some more affordable sneakers. If you’re unfamiliar with Golden Goose sneakers (yes, they’re supposed to look worn in), and wondering if they’re worth the money, make sure you check out this post.

Hi ERin! Could you tell me which wash of the natash jean you are wearing in this picture? Thanks!
Yes, it’s called Pioneer!
Love this sweater ???? and want one! Do you have it dry-cleaned or take caRe of it at home? Xxx
I just wash mine in the delicate cycle in cold water and then lay flat to dry.
Hi Erin
I like watching your videos and post as they have some really good ideas. My only problem is that your clothes are just not affordable for the normal woman. Maybe you could do a comparison of this sweater I paid $$$$ or get this sweater for.. ..and show a far less expensive sweater. $250 for a cashmere sweater is pretty darn EXPENSIVE, $2000 for a coat….$1200 for a purse….show that and then a comparable purse/coat/clothing item for far far less money.
Thanks
Annette
If you wait for a Bloomies sale, these cashmere sweaters will be a lot more affordable.. they usually get down to under $100. For cashmere (that’s decent) you’re going to have to invest more. I partner with Express and Walmart every month and feature very affordable finds in those posts. Are you on my RSS feed so you know when I upload a new post?? I also list options for less on my Youtube videos when featuring a higher-priced item. I hope that is helpful? Erin xo
erin, the struggle is real. I couldn’t take hrt or birth control for the symptoms. I used an otc Estroven. it takes about a month to build up in your system but it worked for me. the weight gain is a struggle. i got some control with exercise but there were times i felt like i was possessed i could eat a package of cookies and not know i was eating. i’ve been menopausal for many years now. please know many of us have been there.
Thank you so much for sharing a bit of your journey, Cathy! Means a lot… Erin xo
