Affordable Fall Sweaters
One of the best things about fall is getting to pull out all of your chic, cozy sweaters! My go-to fall uniform is a sweater, jeans, and sneakers or booties. So I’m sharing FOURTEEN of the new sweaters I ordered to try out for you. All of these sweaters are under $200 and half of them are even under $100. Whether you’re looking for a cozy lounge sweater or a sexy date night sweater, we’ve got you covered…
#1) Ivory Color Block Sweater
This first sweater is a beautiful color-blocked mock neck by T Tahari. I love adding lighter hues to my fall wardrobe to brighten it up and take a break from the darker colors we tend to gravitate towards during the fall and winter. This sweater is a really pretty ivory and beige that pairs beautifully with white jeans. But you could wear it with traditional blue jeans too. I love that the mock neck is more relaxed so it doesn’t feel too tight or close to my neck, the length of the sweater is perfect, and the ribbed texture is nice and soft. It runs true to size.
#2) Striped Sweater
If you’re looking for more of a statement, this Steve Madden sweater is perfect. I love the stripes around the waist, cuffs, and neckline that give it a preppy or sporty feel. The hemline of the sweater is elastic so you get a more fitted, streamlined, and flattering look around the midsection. Style this with a pair of black or blue denim for an easy fall look. It runs true to size.
#3) Lounge Sweater
For those cozy fall days at home, consider adding a new lounge sweater to your wardrobe. I recently got this one and the matching pants by Z Supply and love the comfy set! It’s super soft, has a ribbed neckline and cuffs, and has a super relaxed feel. It runs true to size.
#4) Twist-Front Cutout Sweater
This ASTR The Label sweater is perfect for date night! It has a v-neckline and twist front at the bust that’s super flattering and sexy. There’s a tiny cutout detail just under the bust but you can still wear a regular bra…win! It has more of a cropped fit so you can wear it with high-rise jeans, pants, or skirts. It runs true to size.
#5) Slit Turtleneck Sweater
This is the coolest sweater by ASTR the Label. I love the dramatic long length and slit. It’s a really modern sweater that’s easy to style with jeans for a unique look. The weight is also perfect for fall…not too warm but not too cool. It runs true to size.
#6) Cable Knit Sweater Vest
For those of you who live in warmer climates but still love to wear sweaters…try a sweater vest! I love the ivory color of this Line & Dot sweater vest, the pretty cable knit and ribbed details, and the boxier, more casual fit. It runs true to size.
#7) Pearl-Collar Sweater
This is another great option if you’re in a warm climate because of the short sleeves. I LOVE the feminine pearl details on the neckline and down the front. You can wear it buttoned up all the way or unbutton it a little like I did. It has pretty cable knit details and a cropped fit that works perfectly with high-rise jeans, pants, and skirts.
#8) Raw Edge Sweater
You may remember this sweater from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year. I bought it in three colors and am SO excited to wear it now that the temps are dropping. It has a cool raw edge and the perfect cropped length for styling with high-rise jeans, pants, and skirts! It runs true to size and comes in a bunch of colors.
#9) Ivory Cable Knit Sweater
A cable-knit sweater is a must-have for fall and this one is such a good basic! It’s 100% cotton so it’s very breathable and it has the prettiest cable knit and ribbed detailing. You can wear this sweater with jeans, joggers, and skirts this fall…it’s so versatile. It runs true to size and has a cropped, boxy fit. But it’s not TOO cropped so you can easily front-tuck it into your bottoms if you prefer to style it that way.
#10) Oversized Blue Fuzzy Sweater
This Banana Republic sweater is one of those versatile knits you can just throw on with leggings, jeans, pants, joggers, or skirts and be out the door in minutes. I love the bright cobalt blue color and fuzzy material. It has a longer length (great for casually wearing with leggings), a cozy mock-neck, and slouchy sleeves. The alpaca-blend knit fabric is also SO soft! I’m wearing a small and it runs TTS, but it’s designed to fit more oversized. It also comes in petite.

#11) Slouchy Tunic Sweater
This gorgeous ivory tunic sweater is super soft, has a subtle ribbed texture, and a mock neck. Since it’s a tunic, it’s oversized, giving it a more casual feel. Some sites call it a tunic dress. It’s a little too short for it to be a dress in my opinion, which is why I styled it with jeans and booties for a casual lunch look. This is one of those pieces you can throw on with jeans for an easy, running errands look or you can wear it with leggings and sneakers for lounging at home or school drop-off. You’ll want to wear this cozy sweater all the time and you’ll style it in more ways than you think! It runs true to size.
#12) Classic Cashmere Sweater
Every woman needs a classic black sweater in her closet and this one by Aqua is a go-to! It has a flattering v-neck, classic fit, and it comes in a bunch of colors. Aqua Cashmere is an in-house brand at Bloomingdale’s that has super high-quality cashmere sweaters at really affordable prices (for cashmere). Plus, they always go on sale! This sweater is $178 but is on sale for $134 (at the time of writing this post). If it’s not on sale now, it probably will be soon 😉
#13) Pre-Layered Sweater
C by Bloomingdale’s Cashmere is another in-house Bloomie’s brand that makes amazing cashmere sweaters that are always on sale. This pre-layered sweater is SO chic, comfortable, soft, and versatile. I love the layered look but trying to do it yourself can be annoying and actually add bulk. With a pre-layered sweater, it takes all of the guesswork out of it!
#14) Cropped Turtleneck
This LPA sweater has such a gorgeous material and texture that’s so unique. It is pretty cropped, so you have to wear it with high-rise jeans, pants, or skirts. I styled it with the matching skirt that shows a sliver of skin, making this a perfect date night look.
