Amazon Prime Day!

It’s Amazon Prime Day! The sales officially start at 3pm EST, but there are a few early bird specials.

Amazon is like a life-line to so many of us….especially those of us who live in remote areas. I’m constantly ordering toiletries, clothes, shoes, even groceries from Amazon! Prime Day gives you an opportunity to scoop up some great deals! I’m sharing my picks with you below!

This sale can be really overwhelming because there’s just SO much out there. The best way to decide what you should buy is to ask yourself what you NEED. If you’ve been thinking about buying the new Echo Show or Smart Home devices, now is the time! If you really need some new furniture, you should definitely check out Amazon’s furniture and décor selection!

1) ECHO | One of the top sellers every year is Amazon Echo and Echo Dot or as most of us affectionately refer to her to as, “Alexa.” She will make fart noises upon request, tell you the weather, play your favorite songs, give you the headline news, and SO much more! Alexa even tells jokes! Plus, you get six months of Amazon Music free if you buy an Echo. Do yourself a favor and ask Alexa to play, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” by the Oak Ridge Boys. It’s hilarious and quite possibly the worst song ever recorded!

2) SECURITY CAMERAS | Another great option is the in-home security cameras like these by Blink. We use these for the exterior, interior and garage shots to help keep our family safe! Also, if you are the parent of teens, you may consider adding a couple of these to your home if you leave town so you can keep a virtual eye on things.

3) KINDLE | If you’re a big reader, you can get a Kindle Unlimited membership for 40% off! Plus, the Kindle is on sale here.

4) KEY | I think the Amazon Key is really cool…you can lock and unlock the door remotely, monitor entry and exits, and so much more!

Wildcard pick! If you need a mattress…and this is NOT a joke, you can order one from Amazon. We ordered two for our cabin in Telluride before we moved. And they are not only SO easy to inflate, they are insanely comfortable. The size of the box is so small and it inflates so easily… you’ll be in awe!
