Best Fall Shoes
Schutz Maryana Knee-High Boots
Knee-high boots are a must for fall and this pair by Schutz is such a fun, sexy, high-quality option. Erin has owned them for 3 years and they still look brand new, which is pretty impressive! We love the croc-embossed leather, flattering pointed toe, and manageable 3.5” heel. The heel is high, but these boots are very easy to walk in (for heels). You can style them with dresses or skirts to dial up the sexy but Erin also loves wearing them with jeans for a more casual dinner or date night look. If stiletto heels aren’t for you, these boots also come in a block heel version which will be easier to walk in and feel more casual. They run true to size (TTS), order your normal size.
Schutz Black Leather Stiletto Booties
Erin really loves the Schutz brand because they make beautiful, high-quality, classic shoes that you can wear for years. This pair of ankle booties is also by Schutz and she’s had them for about 2 years. She loves them so much she has them in white AND black! They are comfortable (for heels), have a 3.5” heel, and have a dressier feel…perfect for wearing with dresses during the fall/winter or dressing up a pair of jeans. They run TTS.
See by Chloe Combat Boots
If you’re looking for a more casual pair of boots for fall, these See by Chloe combat boots are a pair that Erin’s been wearing since 2019! Combat boots were trendy for a while but now we consider them a wardrobe basic. If you like to add a little edge to your looks, these are very versatile and stylish. They’re super comfortable and had virtually no break-in time. They’re at a higher price point but Erin thinks they are worth the investment…especially considering how many years she’s had them and how often she wears them! You can wear them with jeans or leggings for a casual outfit. But Erin also loves wearing combat boots with dresses and skirts to create that contrast between feminine and masculine styles! They run TTS. Looking for a more affordable option? Check out these boots.
Rag & Bone Sneakers
These Rag & Bone sneakers are so good that Erin owns them in multiple colors! We love their sportier, retro, elevated look. They’re super lightweight and have great flexibility and traction. They have a little bit of a lift for some added height, but they aren’t a platform sneaker. This sneaker has extra padding for comfort in all the right places and since the footbed is cushioned, these will provide arch support as well. They look great with a pair of jeans, wide-leg pants, leggings, or dresses for a casual outfit.
Stuart Weitzman Sock Booties
No matter what, if Erin needs a dressy pair of booties, she always comes back to these sock booties! Erin has had them for years and the versatility and comfort are unmatched They’re fitted to the leg, which adds a level of sophistication, elegance, and modernity, versus an open bootie that’s less fitted to the ankle. The fitted ankle also allows you to wear them with everything from baggier jeans to dresses and skirts. They are a little pricier so we linked a similar option here. They run true to size.
Veronica Beard Platform Booties
These black suede platform booties by Veronica Beard are amazing. They look super high, but trust Erin…they’re really comfortable (for heels) and super easy to walk in. Erin wore them out to dinner three times in NYC…that’s how comfy they are! These booties have a dressy, slim heel (rather than chunky) but it’s not so slim that it is hard to walk in. Our YouTube co-producer Denise ordered them and said she was able to walk to dinner and wear them for a few hours with no discomfort right out of the box! They run TTS. These are a little pricey but we linked a similar option here.
Steve Madden Lug Sole Booties
For a while, Steve Madden came out with a new version of these booties every year and Erin bought them…every year. They’re such a classic black bootie but they have a little bit of edge because of the chunky lug-sole. They are SO lightweight, which is amazing considering the lug sole! Plus, they are super comfortable and affordable. Since they are older they have limited stock and we linked this year’s version here. They run TTS.

I love your selections for shoes. I’m 65 years old and now have bunions and have a challenge finding wide width shoes that are fashionable. I’d love to see stylish options to accommodate my “new” feet.
