I picked up this cage dress on clearance in Colorado because I really thought it was interesting, unique and sexy.
I also liked the length of the skirt. Even though the liner is a mini, the sheer overlay comes down to my knees.
You have likely seen cage-inspired skirts, dresses and shoes. It feels modern and edgy, but in a silhouette like this (above), still feminine and age appropriate. But, if this piece feels too risqué … try a boxy ‘cage’ or mesh top… or a full skirt instead.
I bought the shoes at Asos.com because I loved the way they looked. I still love the way they look, the lace-up pump feels quite new and now. BUT, I am sad to say, they are uncomfortable. I will likely wear them for very short stretches of time where very little walking is involved. Here is a pair of lace-up flats that I also bought, which are, in fact, comfortable!
Thank you SO much for stopping by!! I appreciate each and every one of you.
