Clear & Translucent Sandals
These see-through sandals have been around for a while You’ve probably heard them called lucite, transparent, PVC, etc. They are basically all the same thing! What do you think of this trend? Personally, I think the clear shoe trend is so fun and sexy as long as it is done tastefully. (Some are not.) This detail is a simple, unexpected, and sexy!
#1 | Tamara Mellon Sandals
I own a few pairs of see-through sandals and LOVE them! The first pair I got was the Tamara Mellon Frontline heels. They are sexy, classy, and chic. These are SUCH beautiful shoes, but they are not the most comfortable. I would call them car to door shoes. Meaning, you don’t want to walk in them much more than the car to the door of where you are going. BUT… there is a shorter heel option (2.95”). The three straps have a subtle translucent strap detail. Even in this skin-blending color option called Honey Nappa, the shoes are a super sexy standout! I shared more about them in this post.
#2 | Schutz Sandals
The second pair are some heels by Schutz. The Schutz brand is the most popular in the transparent sandals trend. They make a ton of styles that are gorgeous, and come at a great price point if you’re wanting to test this shoe trend at a lower cost! The pair I’m wearing are black and have two clear straps across the foot. They also come in nude! You can see them styled with jeans in this post.
I love the half-lucite strap on these heels. SO gorgeous!
