Cute Outfits with Jeans
We all have that one pair of jeans in our closet that fit well and seem like they go with everything! A solid pair of blue jeans, no matter what the cut, really can be the perfect clothing piece in your closet. But sometimes it can be hard to turn that reliable pair of casual jeans into something a little dressier. I’m sharing a few cute outfit ideas to help you dress up your favorite basic jeans. Whether you’re planning a night on the town, brunch with the ladies, or even date night, there’s no reason to think you can’t incorporate your favorite jeans!
1) Add Some Edge
No matter what style type you gravitate toward, adding some edge is always fun…and easier than you think! In this look, I added a few edgy elements, but if this feels outside of your comfort zone, just try adding one edgy piece. For example, instead of wearing the cool, layered button-down shirt and the edgy combat boots, just wear the boots. By the way, these AG jeans are SOOOO good. They have a super flattering, slim fit, but more of a straight leg, perfect for those of you who love skinny jeans, but are looking for an updated denim silhouette. I love the medium-light wash. They run a little big, so I recommend sizing down. I’m usually a 26. I’m wearing a 25.
My Maje top is definitely not your average button-down shirt. It has a built-in tank that makes that effortless layered look super…well, effortless! It’s only has a few sizes left so if you see yours, grab it. On my feet are my go-to combat boots by See by Chloe. I’ve had these for a few years and love to wear them in the fall and winter with jeans, dresses, and skirts.
2) Add Leather
If combat boots or an edgy top isn’t your style…try adding leather instead! Pairing your favorite pair of jeans with a basic white tee and a leather blazer or jacket will instantly elevate your look and make it feel fresh. I’m wearing the same AG jeans with a white Nation LTD tee, black mules, and a black vegan leather blazer by Alice + Olivia. This blazer is soooo buttery soft and the fit is lovely. For fall, swap the open-toe mules for booties, pumps, or sneakers.
3) Upgrade Your Outerwear
Along the same lines…make your cute jeans outfits feel fresh with some new outerwear for fall/winter. Whether it’s a statement coat, chic cardigan, or edgy jacket, changing up your outerwear can take your jeans look up a notch. You may remember this gorgeous Sam Edelman trench from the NSale. I love the green and black color combo and the leather and wool blend contrast. It’s just such a modern piece!
4) Add Texture
Add texture to our jeans outfits by changing up what you’re wearing on top. In this look, I’m wearing a silk cami, but you could go with a super fuzzy sweater or feminine lace top. This camisole has sexy, silky fabric and a bold, gold, chain-detail around the flattering v-neckline that really makes it pop. I love how it looks tucked into this modern pair of Mother jeans. The jeans have a super high rise (11.25”) and a straight-leg silhouette. Not only do they make my legs look longer, but the straight legs feel fresher than a pair of skinny jeans.

5) Pop of Color
Really make your jeans shine with a standout color pop! Pink is one of the hottest trends for fall/winter and this L’Agance top is the perfect piece to add to your wardrobe if you want a pop of colorful, on-trend freshness! Complete the look with a pair of sleek booties and your cute jeans outfit is now perfectly elevated.
