The title should read, “How to Wear Cropped Pants to Work” or …in the Desert! LOL.
I wanted to convey power… And, I think this awe-inspiring, national park definitely elicits that feeling.
I really love this unique, yet polished office outfit option!
Power Suit
You no longer have to wear a matching suit (although you can if you want to).
That means a LOT of interesting business casual outfit combinations.
Take my look above, for example.
I’m wearing a classic black blazer, with a pair of really cool, cropped, pinstripe pants (both different designers).
I add even more modernity by wearing a choker blouse underneath the blazer.
Just because you are going to work, doesn’t mean you can’t look stylish and trendy!

Metallic Bag
I love this small, crossbody/satchel in embossed leather by Michael Kors.
It adds such a wonderful pop to the look, and the color will go with so many things in your wardrobe.
The bag also looks incredibly expensive, but is actually affordable.
It will easily transition from day to night too.

Look Tall
Cropped pants can definitely make you look shorter.
If you are petite like me, you may want to opt for heels to keep you looking long and tall.

Arches National Park
This park, in Moab, Utah, is called ‘Arches National Park‘.
We went last year, and I wrote about our adventure here.
It’s about a 2 and a half hour drive from our house in Telluride, CO.
We went because I needed to feel ‘hot’ and after a full day of 100+ degrees…I was ready to go back to CO!
