Casual Summer Outfit
Sweaty Betty Racerback Midi Dress
What’s SO unique about this racerback midi dress is the fabric and the fit. It’s an activewear dress that is lightweight, breathable, and moisture-wicking… a must for those super hot days. It ended up being the perfect travel dress for Erin in the humid Vietnam climate. Because of the way the dress is cut, you’ll want to wear a racerback sports bra or a tank underneath. It has lined, sporty side mesh panels, a ruffled high-low hem, and it’s midi length. It’s super soft, stretchy, and wrinkle-resistant (another travel bonus). You can wear this dress after a workout, out to lunch, running errands, or just when you want to be cool and comfy around the house. If you love your shoulders, this dress will show them off beautifully! It has a relaxed straight fit, so it won’t cling, but it’s not oversized either. It fits TTS and also comes in two other colors.
Erin is wearing the dress with a pair of Madewell sandals, but you could swap those out for sneakers if you prefer. You can always layer a light cardigan sweater or denim jacket over it if you want more coverage. More on the sandals…
Madewell Double Strap Slide Sandals
Erin walked all over Vietnam in these leather Madewell sandals and said they were incredibly comfortable. They have a molded footbed and an adjustable strap so you get that perfect fit. They’re also very lightweight making them ideal for everyday summer looks and traveling since they won’t be heavy in your suitcase. Erin is wearing the color Warm Coffee and they come in 3 other colors. Erin had a similar version of these sandals a few seasons back and loved them so much, she grabbed a new pair.
Italian Leather Convertible Clutch Under $100
The last piece to top off Erin’s perfect summer outfit is this neutral, designer-inspired, leather convertible bag by Quince. Erin only brought one bag on her 14-day trip, so you know it had to be a good one! You can wear it as a shoulder bag, crossbody, or remove the strap to turn it into a clutch. The strap is also adjustable which is great if you are petite or really tall. So versatile! It has a wonderful woven texture and it’s a great price point for all-leather at under $100. It’s a great size for wearing every day or you can pop it into your larger work tote or travel bag. Erin said it’s so light it’s like carrying paper!
