Styling a Bold Colored Moto Jacket
I bought this red moto jacket by Doma Leather about two years ago.
I wear it a LOT more than you might think…. with tees and jeans… or something a little dressier like the look the above.
Doma is one of my favorite leather jacket lines. I usually snag mine on sale through Nordstrom Rack or The Outnet.
Other favorite lines include IRO, Joie, and Muubaa.
I found some options for you above. It’s fun to match the red with a red lip or maybe one other red accessory.

Flats
These loafer mules by Sam Edelman have been a heavy hitter for me. They are VERY comfortable and also quite chic.
I love wearing them with skinny jeans or cropped jeans for a casual, effortless look.

Jeans
These kickflare, dark wash, cropped Rag & Bone also get a lot of wear.
They frame a pair of shoes or booties beautifully.
I also love how they are fitted through the legs to give you shape.
The brilliant thing about the cropped jean trend for us shorter ladies…? NO tailoring needed!
But if you DO need tailoring, always be sure to ask the tailor for the original bottom. If you don’t, it will ruin the integrity of the jeans.
If the tailor looks at you like you are crazy…grab your jeans and run! 😉
BTW, “kickflare” is a jean type you will hear kicked around. It means the jeans are fitted through the legs, flared at the bottom, and, cropped!

Sweater
Isn’t this sweater vest the cutest?? It is a sophisticated way to try the layered look.
It’s appropriate for whatever you are doing… from work to errands. It’s also very soft and comfortable. It does NOT cling at all!
Blouse
This white blouse will layer beautifully under sweaters, blazers, vests, jackets, etc.
It’s cotton poplin and quite thin, but thick enough that it is not see through.

Earrings
I wear these black and white feather earrings (above) ALL THE TIME.
They really go with everything and are a simple and chic way to mix prints.
