I know that the upper arms are a problem area for many women over 40. Even if they aren’t a problem area, many of you feel uncomfortable showing them. I love a sleeveless top, but understand that’s not for everyone! Find some of my favorite blouses for keeping your arms covered up!
If you missed it, what this video on how to hide flabby arms.
This Free People blouse is so pretty! I love the beautiful lace fabric and the color is so feminine. The cinched, flare sleeves are so much fun, and cover your arms in style! I paired this top with a pair of white slit hem jeans and wedges but you could also wear it with shorts and sneakers if you like to show off your legs!

#2 | White Frame Blouse
Frame blouses are my absolute favorite…I did an entire post on why I think they’re worth the money here. They’re super high quality and stylish. This Frame blouse has a cool puffed shoulder and v-neckline. The curved hem is also very flattering for anyone looking to hide a tummy. I have it on with skinny jeans and sandals but I’ve worn it with pretty much everything!

#3 | Blue Tie-Front Top
This blue tie-front top by Rails is a great top for summer! The tie-front is an added style detail you don’t see a ton, and the sleeves are long enough to cover your upper arm. I have a couple of Rails shirts and love how nice and breathable the fabrics are. I love this top paired with high waisted jeans or shorts!

If you follow along on Instagram or here on the blog, you’ve seen this Rails button-down A LOT this summer! It’s super lightweight, breathable, easy to tuck in, leave out, or tie in the front. I’ve styled it with jeans and shorts and it really is the perfect summer top! Plus, your arms are completely covered and you don’t get hot!
You may remember this look and the next from this post where I shared my summer style uniform. This top by Free People is a cool, safari-style that has front pockets, tie cuffs, and a v-neck. It fits into that summer utility trend I’ve talked about here and here. I have it on with baggy Moussy Vintage jeans and comfortable sandals.
#6 | White Tee
Now for the easiest summer outfit that will keep your arms covered…a basic white tee! This tee is by ATM but if you’re looking for something more affordable, this $20 Madewell tee is great. If you’re going to do a basic tee like this, I recommend doing a fun pair of jeans to elevate the look!
