I’ll fully admit, I ordered this set not quite knowing whether it was going to work.
Gingham is one of ‘those’ fabrics that can be a challenge to pull off.
It can skew too young…too sweet…too preppy…too, well… tablecloth.
But there is something so lovely and charming about it, when you get the right piece(s).
This lovely “Twosie” or Matching Separates is from Chicwish.com.
STYLING NOTES:
Frankly, I prefer the set split up. I love the skirt with the white top.
And, the white top is a heck of a lot more comfortable and easy to wear.
However, the matching top is quite fun too, if you are feeling a bit daring.
Which look do you prefer?
I think the Ked’s tone the whole look down, and make it much more accessible and casual.
If you wanted to dress it up, you could easily wear nude, strappy sandals, wedges or pumps.
I think a white sweater would be really fresh with this skirt as well.
Btw, I DO realize I need to iron. One of these days, I’ll pick it up again. My Keds could use a good wash too.
I see wearing this look to a daytime party, casual wedding or out running errands…
(Yes, with sneakers, why not? I did.)
Thank you SO much for stopping by.
