For those of you who don’t follow me on Instagram, you might not know my family spent our first Christmas in Colorado.
It was my first “white” Christmas in many years.
I grew up in upstate New York where white Christmas’ were the norm.
I once built a snow fort in the hopes that Santa would deliver presents to both my house and my snow house.
He didn’t.
But, you can gather that I’m used to snow at Christmas.
So this trip, while exhausting (is it ever restful with a 6 and 3-year old?), was also wonderful!
We got feet of snow right before Christmas. FEET!Â
This is a skiers dream, right?
And we DID ski, but again growing up in upstate NY, I learned how to ski on ice, not feet of fresh powder.
Resolution #35 … learn how to ski in powder.Â
The highlight of the trip???
Elizabeth learned how to ski!!!
You can watch a short video (above) of her skiing.
I think it’s the cutest thing in the whole wide world, but of course I do…I’m her mom.
You can also check out “what I wore” while on this trip…
And I wanted to share some new discoveries I made on the winter wardrobe front!Â
