I have tested out snow boots in Colorado.
I have also poured over my cold weather viewer comments (old and new), and read a medley of other blogs.
So, I’m breaking it all down and bringing you the best of the best when it comes to snow boots!

*****

TOP 5 SNOW BOOTS

1) Joan of Arctic

The reigning champ…the boot to tackle every cold weather situation that still looks cute…Sorel’s “Joan of Arctic.”
These are cushiony, warm and high enough to keep snow out.
They run true to size (note: I’ve tried other Sorels, like Conquest Carly, that run small)
They lace up, so they are also adjustable in the calf which is great if you have smaller or wider calves.
I wore these playing in giant snow banks with the kids and my feet stayed warm and dry.

2) Joan Of Arctic “Wedge Bootie”

I saw a lot of ladies wearing these in Colorado, and I contemplated getting these instead of the Kyra boots.
BUT, I ended up getting the Kyra because I wanted a dressier boot.
I think these look great, though, and if they are made by Sorel…you know they are warm and comfy!
You can check out my friend, Tanya Foster’s recent post, to read her thoughts on these.

3) Ugg “Kyra” Bootie

These are new-ish for me, but I love them!
They give me a few inches of height which I love since I’m only 5’4″.
You can fold them down to expose the furry liner, or roll up for more coverage.
They are pull on, which is great so you don’t have to mess around with laces
(aka fast when you need to leave in a hurry).
They also look REALLY chic!
The only drawback is they slip and slide a little on a hill.
These are not meant for serious walks/hikes.

4) Manitobah Mukluks

My Minnesota viewers SWEAR by these boots.
I also did some research and these get RAVE reviews by hardcore outdoor lovers.
If these are good enough for 60 below, they are good enough for me!
Plus, I think they are super cute!

5) Columbia Mix Mid II

I wanted to add this last boot too because it got a few shout outs from viewers.
A longtime viewer, Marla from Colorado, highly recommends them!
They are also the most budget-friendly option.

I’m not a big fan of how snowboots look, but it’s something I’ve gotta have. I love the ones you picked, too!
