Hi Erin, love your videos! I am heading to my dream trip of my life to Italy in November. I will need super comfortable shoes for sightseeing, and want them to still look good. I want them to be something I can afford without stretching the bank…any suggestions on brands, I had bunion surgery on one foot, so I know what you talk about in footwear, also have had some issues with plantar fasciitis type pain.
Hi Julie…
In your case, I would definitely bring some REALLY Comfortable and cool street sneakers. For November, I would probably bring a gray or black pair to wear with jeans. Also, search the ‘comfort’ shoes on Nordstrom.com. I would find a pair (closed toe) that you like and try them first. Erin xo
Erin, I absolutely love your style. I fell in love with the squash blossom necklace you rocked in this post and found one on Nordstrom Rack with the same aesthetic that fits my budget. ( https://www.nordstromrack.com/shop/product/1573330/eye-candy-los-angeles-blossom-turquoise-necklace?color=silver# ) I am anxiously watching my mail for it. Anyway, can you give some tips on how to wear a statement piece like this without it wearing you? I’m stepping out of my comfort zone a bit with such a large piece and need some reassurance that I’m not doing it wrong! Thanks!
Sure… wear that piece and keep everything else neutral. For example, wear it with a white top and jeans. Or a black dress or a black top and jeans. Wear the statement piece, against a neutral, almost blank canvas. Hope that helps? Erin xo
