One Piece Swimsuits | 20 of My Picks

One pieces swimsuits can be just as sexy and glam as two-pieces…
And, leave a little more to the imagination (emphasis on “little”).
Not to mention make you feel a little more confident, comfortable and secure.

The suit that I’m wearing is by a line I’ve loved for years called, “Oye.”
Oye makes GORGEOUS suits. Real SHOW STOPPERS!
But, they are pretty expensive, so I picked a bunch more for less (below).

Shop “OYE” at Shopbop here.

Think About Your Body Shape

When picking out your one-piece, you should first consider your body shape.
In my case, I am a rectangle shape, which means I have little definition in my waist.
The wide straps at the top of this suit, helps create more of an hourglass shape for me.
See how they create a V shape?
That makes my shoulders look a little broader, and my waist a little smaller.
There are also side V panels at the waist, which also helps create the illusion of a smaller mid section.
This suit is pretty glam so I think it will be reserved for special occasions.
Like all those trips I take to Hawaii in my head.
There are some more casual options below.

Design Details

Be sure to select strategically placed design details.
Maybe a ruffle top for a smaller bust.
Or a skirt for bigger hips.
Ruching or a belt to define your waist.
I have more suit suggestions below, including some with built in shapewear.

I’ll do a complete swimwear guide as we get closer to the season.
These options are to help you gear up for spring break and weekend getaways!

  1. I would love to see a whole video on one piece swimsuits for specific body types, including pregnant women. I am going to Hawaii in a few months and will definitely be showing by then and will need a new suit. Not sure what to look for to be the most flattering.
