Wearing All Red
Bold Monochromatic Look
Red stands out. No question.
You should have seen the looks I got in Telluride walking around in this outfit above.
When I shoot, I am typically broached by a lot of puzzled people, wondering what the heck I’m doing.
“I’m shooting for my website,” is my stock answer. It’s much easier than explaining the entire world of blogging.
But what was really cool… 5 random women complemented me on the street. I love when women appreciate other women.
I also love wearing an outfit like this that makes me feel like I can conquer anything.
It’s amazing really… fashion can transform the way you look and feel.
In this suit, I went from my usual, ‘tired-mom-running-errands’ to ‘superwoman-ready-to-tackle-the-world!’
Have you busted out your superwoman lately?

You may be thinking, this is a LOT of red.
And, you would be RIGHT.
Red is REALLY big in fashion right now, and the head-to-toe red look is even more on trend.
Plus, don’t you get so bored with the same old, same old?
I sure do.
I mean, I know it’s most helpful to show ‘normal’ outfits, but I also want to push it every once in a while… .
Fashion should be FUN!
STYLE TIP: DO try a red lip and take the monochromatic look all the way!
This suit is by Smythe and definitely on the pricey side, so I gave you less expensive mix-and-match options below.
Also, you can try swapping your blazer for a sweater like I did below.
I would consider buying only the blazer, and wearing it with jeans. It’s such a wonderful color, and I love the cutout detail in the back.
Shop Red Pants
Shop Red Jackets
For a slightly more casual look, try your red pants with a red sweater…like my look above.
I’m wearing a very over-sized, balloon sleeve sweater by Topshop.
It is BIG so be prepared to wear it with leggings, skinny jeans or tapered pants, to offset the volume.
Just a quick reminder that I will be ALL OVER Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
I’m uploading two videos with the top ten shopping tips for both.
I will also post blogs listing ALL the major sales, with codes and picks.
