A swim shirt or rash guard is an awesome way to stay sun safe while also looking chic. Lands’ End has a bunch of options from the vibrantly printed option I’m wearing above, to a range of solid colors. You can pair the swim shirt with a traditional bikini bottom OR opt for a swim skirt for even more coverage.

Many of you have asked me about swim skirts and shorts. I think they are awesome! This mini swim skirt from Lands’ End comes in a few colors and has a built-in bottom underneath. This is a mini skirt, but they also have longer versions… as well as great swim shorts!

Ruffle Top

I paired the white ruffle bandeau top with the bright blue swim skirt. I love that the top has a strap for extra lift and support. It also creates the illusion of a wider upper body which can really help balance your body if your hips, butt, and thighs are bigger. And, for those that don’t want tan lines, you can take the strap off and even take your arms out of the sleeves quite easily.

Bikini

I wanted to show you one really cute and summery bikini option. This bikini top has some shoulder building ruffles along the straps, again to create volume across the top. The bikini bottom and top have mixed floral and gingham prints that are really sweet, but the suit is definitely still very sophisticated and sexy!

High Waist Bikini Bottoms

If you want to wear a bikini, but would like more coverage, you can try a high waist bikini bottom. They are surprisingly VERY flattering, not to mention so comfy!

Cover-Up

A chic cover-up is a summer must-have. A cotton, button-down, cover-up dress is a classic that will work with almost any suit… AND you can wear year after year as long as you take great care of it. This one has roll-tab sleeves that you can wear up or down. It’s also a great length.
