For those that are not familiar with Colleen Rothschild skincare, I wanted to share some need-to-know info… besides being insanely gorgeous, with the skin of an angel, Colleen has 20+ years experience in the beauty industry. She has meticulously developed her skincare lines based on scientifically proven ingredients and long-term results.
Translation… her products REALLY WORK.
The Anti-Aging Superhero
Retinol is the gold standard when it comes to anti-aging skincare. And, now that I’m in my 40’s (turning 44 this month) I am fully committed to the retinol track. One of Colleen’s newer products is the Retinol Supreme Night Oil. It is a combination of retinol and Colleen’s best-selling Face Oil No. 9. The moisturizing face oil offsets the dryness caused by the retinol.
Keep scrolling to learn more about the oil, what’s in it, and how to use it.
How to Use It
You should first cleanse your face. I love using Colleen’s Radiant Cleansing Balm. It’s one of my all-time favorites! It smells amazing and is so gentle and lovely. If your skin needs extra hydration, use a moisturizer before you apply the oil. I am a big fan of the Extreme Recovery Cream (but, you can skip this step if you want to). Next, apply the Retinol Supreme Night Oil.
What’s In It
The Retinol Supreme Night Oil contains the maximum amount of over-the-counter retinol. It also contains Vitamin C to protect your skin against toxins.
What Does It Do?
The Retinol Supreme Night Oil helps minimize wrinkles and dark spots, stimulates collagen production to help tighten the skin, and sloughs off dead skin cells so your skin looks more vibrant and youthful. It’s good stuff. If you are 40+ you should consider using some form of retinol to combat the signs of aging.
My Problem Area
My problem area is my crow’s feet (above). Those are the lines around your eyes. I also have droopy eyelids, which become more hooded the older I get. You can use botox to help this area, but I am not a fan of how my face looks with botox.
Fighting Eye Wrinkles
To help combat my eye wrinkles, I’ve started incorporating retinol creams on my lids and under my eyes. I just started using Colleen’s Retinol Supreme Eye Serum again. This is so effective, I’m using it every other evening. I can’t wait to share my long-term results with all of you! I’ll definitely hold onto the picture above so we can compare.
I’ve really wanted to commit to retinol use in my skincare routine for years now, but only feel like recently I’m actually doing it. I’m ALL IN now!
How To Use the Eye Serum
I’m applying the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum at night… after cleansing… and before I use the retinol oil. I gently pat around my eyes using my ring finger.
The other anti-aging superhero in Colleen Rothschild’s skincare is the award-winning Age Renewal Super Serum. It contains peptides, collagen boosters, amino acids and plant extracts…all designed to improve the skin’s radiance and texture. I haven’t tried this one yet and I’m not sure why, but I’m planning to start! This one you can use morning and night under your favorite moisturizer. You can also use this in conjunction with the Retinol Supreme Night Oil. Apply the serum first.
HUGE thank you to Colleen Rothschild for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I only partner with brands and businesses that I love.
