Affordable fall fashion … yay! SO many of you have requested fall fashion ideas that won’t break the bank. Many pieces from the five outfits below are from JCPenney. I’ve been popping into Penney’s for years. I’ve had hair-cuts, family portraits, and of course, I’ve done plenty of shopping there. I like how you can always find stylish pieces at a great prices.

This military jacket by a.n.a. comes in plus, tall and regular sizes. (There is also a vest option here.) It’s super cute, and the perfect lightweight, everyday jacket for fall. I can see wearing this whole outfit running errands or watching your kids’ sports games. These gold sneakers by Liz Claiborne are super cute, and I think you’ll be surprised at how versatile the gold color is. There are other color options, though.
These skinny jeans are very flattering. If you don’t like distressed jeans are a lot more classic options (I feature a pair below). I’m wearing size 1. The sizes run a bit differently than traditional denim. For reference, I typically wear a 25 or 26 in jeans.

I’m a long-time fan of a knit blazer for a bunch of reasons: 1) It’s more casual than a “suit” blazer 2) It doesn’t wrinkle 3) You can wash it yourself. No dry cleaning required! This blazer by a.n.a. will be a heavy hitter this fall. I styled it very casually above and dressed it up below. You could also wear it over a dress or to the office. Did I mention it is under $20??!!
Look #3 | Blazer & Heels
I love how you can take the same knit blazer, swap out the tee for a dressier cami, and the sneakers for pumps…and VOILA, you are glam and ready for date night! Always be sure to think of ALL the ways you can wear each piece in your closet, especially the pieces you really love. This blazer will be awesome for travel since it doesn’t wrinkle. It’s very soft and the length is great too!
I kept the jewelry pretty simple, just one chic and modern layered necklace.

Sometimes you snap a few pics, load them up on your computer, and uncover a bit of magic! The lighting in these pictures blows my mind! But, let’s get down to business and talk about this outfit. I love this cardigan by Arizona and the sporty racing stripes on the sleeves. My mom said it reminded her of the “letter sweaters” she used to wear. It has the versatility of a cardigan with a little extra detail to make it more interesting. I paired it with a black camisole and black ankle boots.

I’ve always been a fan of denim on denim for casual days. You can break up the line by adding a belt or simply mixing tones. For example, the jeans are dark blue and the Arizona button-down shirt is a lighter shade. I finished off the look with python mules and aviator sunglasses.

If you don’t like distressed jeans, there are plenty of more traditional options that are modern like the jeans I’m wearing above. They are ‘ankle’ length so the length works really well on my 5’4″ frame. No hemming required!

It was fun to go shopping at JCPenney and walk out with practically a whole new wardrobe for around $250. 2 pairs of jeans, 1 sweater, 1 button down, 1 blazer and 1 jacket. Unreal. JCP is definitely living up to the tagline, ‘Style and value for all!’ And, a quick reminder that JCPenney has plus, tall and petite sizes too! Most of what I bought is also available in plus-sizes (below).
HUGE thank you to JCPenney for sponsoring this post. I only partner with brands and businesses that I love. You might also like this post featuring fall statement bags or this post sharing the best jeans for curvy women.
