3 Tips to Healthier Hair
How many of you feel like you lost your hair luster after having kiddos? Or maybe your hair started looking dryer as you got older? No matter what your reason, it’s a common issue among women, especially over 40, that can be incredibly aging. The good news is… it’s also easy to fix! I wanted to share a hair mask that I have been using that I think is the best! I featured the same mask in my video: 10 Beauty Tips to Help You Look 10 Years Younger.
#1 | Thyroid Health
I went through a period in my life where I thought, Oh… I guess this crappy, dry hair is just a part of my life now. It started after pregnancy. My hair got thicker, coarser and MUCH dryer. I really didn’t like the way it looked, but no matter what I tried, it didn’t look any shinier or more hydrated. My first move was to see a doctor about my hormones and thyroid. I think fixing my mild hypothyroidism made a huge difference! You can read more about the effects here.
#2 | Game-Changing Hair Mask
The Obliphica Professional Seaberry Mask is SO good! You can choose the mask for medium to coarse hair (purple container) or the fine to medium hair option (orange tub). This stuff is AMAZING, and you will thank me. You’re welcome. I use it when my hair is dry at least 3 times per week. But, you can really use it as frequently as you’d like. Use it in addition to regular conditioner, or as a replacement. Please let me know what you think about the Obliphica Seaberry Mask in the comments below.

#3 | The Right Hair Tools
Another thing to consider when it comes to making your hair look more youthful… is your hair tools. There is no reason to use super damaging and drying hair tools anymore. There are SO many options that will keep your hair healthy, and actually, make it look shinier! I’m a HUGE fan of T3 products like the T3 curling wand and the T3 hair dryer.

I found a really interesting post about homemade hair masks here. You can whip up these simple recipes using ingredients you have in your kitchen like avocado, honey, and olive oil. They are also tailored for dry, damaged hair.
