Statement Shoes
As I sit staring out my bedroom window, I am struck by the beauty of our winter wonderland. Icicles dripping off houses, glittering in the sun… and towering pine trees dipped in powdery snow. It’s gorgeous! But, without fail… this is the time of year I start dreaming about a beach trip. The beach is where I always relax and recharge. To satiate my beach-craving, I thought it would be fun to style some sexy, nude sandals that you can wear now (if you live in a warmer climate) or later, either on your beach trips or for any special events like weddings.

#1 | Top Knot Sandals
The first pair of nude sandals I want to show you that you can wear now…and later are these gorgeous Kerra sandals by Vince Camuto. These have a side zip, but I am able to just slip them on and off. Normally Vince Camuto runs true to size, but you may need to size down 1/2 size with these so the strap hugs your ankle. I would wear these now on date night with your favorite slim boyfriend jeans, and blouse. This wrap front blouse is actually a bodysuit. When buying bodysuits, I like to size up so it’s not too short in the torso.
You can also wear these gorgeous sandals later on your beach trips, for special events like weddings and definitely in a few months when spring is here. I LOVE the color called Meadow Sheep Nile. It blends beautifully with my skin tone, which lengthens the legs with skirts and dresses.
These heels are also very easy to walk in, not to mention comfortable.

And, how versatile is this Dot crossbody bag? It’s the perfect size for travel to carry just the essentials. And, this neutral color will go with everything.
#2 | Nude Platform Sandals
The second pair of shoes that you can wear now or later… are these amazing Javasan platforms! These are 4 1/2 inch heels that feel more like 2 to 3 inchers. Gotta love the platforms! I am not exaggerating when I say these are the shoes you buy for the wedding that allow you to stand and dance ALL night! They are that good! I would also consider bringing these along on vacation to wear with all your sundresses. They will make your legs look a mile long and of course make you look slimmer too! These will also be fabulous under a pair of long, wide leg, flared jeans.
I paired my platforms (for my imaginary beach trip) with a flattering and feminine polka dot, wrap dress.
