Mules are not going anywhere! And, I for one, am pretty happy about it. Mules have my magic shoe formula. They are comfortable and wearable, easy to slip on and off because who has time for buckles! And, I prefer to wear shoes (even in the summer) with more coverage. They feel somewhere between sandals and pumps. They are dressy and formal enough for the office, but casual enough for daily errands. Again…my perfect shoe formula!!
Below, I’m featuring two really chic pairs of mules by Vince Camuto!
#1 | Python Slides
The first pair of mules are these Cessilia Mules by Vince Camuto. These have a chic cone heel and a gorgeous python print. The heel is like a kitten heel and very easy to walk in. Like all Vince Camuto shoes, they are incredibly comfortable. You can wear these with jeans, skirts, shorts, pants, etc. I think you will find they are incredibly versatile.
I styled them with my new favorite ankle jeans, a black cami, and a chic black and white blazer (similar). These jeans are SO flattering! I featured them as one of my new favorites in this post here. I’d wear this look on date night or out for a nice dinner. It also has a professional feel for meetings.
Of note, python and animal prints are still a HUGE trend for spring!
You may have noticed the super cool, color-blocked handbag. It’s the Margi Shoulder Bag and it’s so chic! It has a detachable shoulder strap and a ring to carry it by when you don’t have the shoulder strap on. I love the black and white color combination.
#2 | Black Mules
You will wear these Gerrty Mules ALL THE TIME. Guaranteed. Like the python pair, you’ll be able to wear these with jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, even suits. The heel has python embossed leather, which is a great, luxe touch. I’m only 5’4” so I LOVE heels, especially ones as wearable and comfy as these. You can also scoop these up in bright red and python print. I paired the shoes with the same Natasha Jeans from above, a scalloped hem cami with a black lace bralette underneath. And, I layered my camel wrap coat on top.
I love black and camel together too! It’s another really chic color combo.
