Vivomove HR From Garmin
FINALLY… a smartwatch that looks SO elegant and chic, it easily transitions from working out to the office, even for dressy dinners! I know smartwatches can be confusing so I’m breaking down, in simple easy-to-understand language, exactly what this watch does so you have a deeper understanding of the functionality.
Garmin is the go-to company for sport watches. My husband has a Garmin and has been telling me I need one for years. I was slow to take his advice because I was looking for something that was not just a sport watch. I wanted something super stylish that would work well with my everyday wardrobe.
I was SO excited when I first laid eyes on the Vívomove HR Hybrid Smartwatch! It is a GORGEOUS watch!!
The Vívomove HR Hybrid Smartwatch comes in 14 band and metal options. There are so many amazing options, I had the hardest time choosing what color combination to order. I decided on the Silver Stainless Steel Case with Tan Italian Leather Band. I thought this watch would be the most neutral and versatile. I was seriously considering the black band and face option here. Ultimately the tan felt the most springy! But, you can switch out the bands to compliment whatever you’re wearing. I’m likely going to order both the black and white bands.
Let’s Talk Features!
This is where most of us glaze over because it can feel very overwhelming, but one of the things I really enjoy about this watch is its elegant simplicity.
Here are some of the helpful features:
~ Notifications for calls and texts
~ Calendar reminders
~ 24/7 heart rate monitoring
~ Stress tracking
~ Relaxation timer
~ Sleep monitoring
The Vivomove HR also counts steps, and calories. But, perhaps the best part, the watch has a battery life of up to FIVE DAYS! If you change it to watch mode (instead of smart mode), the battery lasts up to 2 weeks! One other feature worth mentioning, it is water resistant. You can shower with the watch, no problem.
For a deeper dive into the data, you can download the Garmin Connect App. The app gives you a detailed breakdown of the information.
How It Works
You double tap the bottom center of the watch face to activate the screen. Once the time and date appear, you can swipe right or tap again to access other data.
You can also turn it on by rotating your wrist towards your body. Rotating your wrist away from your body turns the screen off. Again for more advanced heart rate and workout data, be sure to download the Garmin Connect App.
