New York Fashion Week
New York Fashion Week | Look #1
I wish I had a photographer all the time to take blog pictures.
Don’t get me wrong…I REALLY enjoy taking pictures.
But I sometimes I spend over an hour taking shots of one outfit.
With Lydia Hudgens, a very talented NYC based photog, we shot 2 looks in 30 minutes. (including outfit change time).
I wondered why she had separate rates for two looks, and one hour.
I couldn’t imagine a scenario where it would take less than an hour to shoot 2 looks.
It was pretty amazing.

Staying Warm
There was a time in my life when I wore things despite the weather.
I was willing to sacrifice a lot for fashion.
Those days are over when it comes to staying warm.
Maybe that has something to do with the fact that I froze most of my life growing up in upstate New York. Or maybe it’s just because I’m older and wiser.
In either case, staying warm while also looking stylish is a priority.
Hence the faux fur pill box hat, only $7.99.
Faux fur wrap.
I love these mirrored aviators by Quay!
Here is a bunch that are Amazon prime eligible.
Duster Coat
This coat is a new find and I’m in love with it!
It is roomy in the sleeves and body so it layers REALLY well over sweaters.
I’m actually wearing 2 layers (a tee and sweater) under it.
This coat is a bit on the pricey side, so I linked you to some options for less (below.)
This sweater sold out, but you can click here for more white turtleneck sweater options.

White Pants
This is my second pair of Parker New York ‘joggers.’
These pants have the unique combination of being elegant, and also edgy.
I’m wearing booties in this these pictures, in order to wear socks and keep my feet warm.
You can wear sandals or pumps when the weather warms up.
See another styling option with these pants on Instagram here.
I featured two additional WHITE pants on this post.

The bottom line is…
You don’t have to sacrifice comfort or warmth to look stylish.
Add a Lot of layers. Wear socks. Wear a hat.
Choose chic pieces and you are good to go!
