This uniform will help keep you warm and dry…and also stylish no matter how cruddy the weather is.
I now live in a climate where the weather is mostly sunny.
I think I bust out my rain boots at most twice per year…
So what the heck do I know about inclement weather???
I grew up in the Northeast (Watertown, New York).
And, I used to walk to work when I lived in Manhattan for many years.
Essentially it boils down to having a few key essentials at the ready:
1) Umbrella
You may also consider grabbing a great travel umbrella.
2) Rain or Knit Hat
I have a black packable rain hat that I like to wear.
In cooler, weather, you might want a knit option.
3) Belted Trench (Water Resistant Preferred)
3) Trench Coats
Most trench coats are not actually ‘water resistant’ or ‘waterproof’
Be sure to read the fine print or the ‘details’ section to find out.
This is especially important if you live in a place where it rains a lot.
