Blogger Of The Week – Grace Atwood

I’m starting a new series to complement my 40+ Fashions series, called “Blogger of the Week.” I love looking at other fashionable ladies for inspiration!

I started following Grace Atwood on Instagram a little while back. I love her posts! She is a DIY queen if you are interested in creating your own jewelry. And, she’s also head of social media for Baublebar which I know is a fave among many of you. (It’s also now available at Nordstrom.com – if you want to touch and feel it before buying)

While Grace is definitely NOT in our 40+ age bracket, I think she’s adorable! She isn’t overdone or too sexy. She always looks effortless, fresh and sweet. I would love it if my daughter looked like this one day. 🙂

Also… many of you asked about boyfriend jeans. If you are going to wear a pair of boyfriend jeans for a casual day out, DO take a cue from Grace and opt for a pair that is just a bit baggy, NOT dumpy. (I really don’t like those “low-hanging-over-sized-look-like-you-have-a-pile-of-poo-in-your-pants” boyfriend jeans.) Grace also chose a black sweatshirt to pair with her jeans. Hello… comfort!! I love the simplicity and functionality. What makes the whole look, however, are her pointed-toe pumps! This elegant touch, mixed with the sporty/casual pieces, elevates the entire look.
