I felt like a princess wearing this full skirt… BUT, I think the crop top adds some edge and modernity to the evening look!
The top is a little loose around your torso, so no excess baby skin over-lapping. Yea!

I think the moto jacket and jewelry add some edginess to the look.
The full skirt would work well on a triangle (conceal hips), inverted triangle (add hips), and rectangular body types (add hips). So cool how the skirt can pull double duty!
This is a tasteful way of wearing a crop top over 40, just show a sliver of skin.
The skirt should be a bit tighter around my waist which would mean even less skin exposure if I tailored it properly.
