Styling Peep Toe Booties 2 Ways

I remember getting the question YEARS ago… will ankle booties stick around? Well, not only are they still very ‘in’ style… there are also more and more evolutions of the bootie. Enter the peep-toe bootie. I think of the peep-toe as the summer bootie. The open toe gives you a little breathing room in the hot weather.

Look #1 | Elevated Casual

The first look is what I would consider elevated casual. It would be great for running errands on days when you want to look cute, or maybe for lunch with the girls, or perhaps even a casual business meeting. The look is modern jeans by Moussy paired with an eyelet top… and these fabulous peep-toe booties by Vince Camuto! Just when I think Vince Camuto booties can’t possibly get more comfortable… they do! The Elison bootie in dark silver is not only incredibly stylish and chic, they are also flexible, easy to walk in and very comfy! I’m in bootie heaven!!  (That sounds bad, but you get the idea).

For those of you who are not familiar with Vince Camuto shoes… you are welcome! That is how much you are going to love them. You will write to me and thank me. Guaranteed! I always talk about the perfect marriage of fashion and function, that pretty much sums up Vince Camuto shoes! I can always count on the shoes to be modern, stylish and edgy. The sizing is uniform. I know if I order my size, they WILL fit. And, they are SO comfortable! Also, the shoes are also EASY to get on and off, which I really appreciate as a busy, working mom. These booties (above) have an easy side zip. Other Vince Camuto booties have velcro straps. It’s these little, but very important details that really set the brand apart.

Look #2 | Edgy Casual

One of my favorite things to do with booties is to pair them with something unexpected like shorts, skirts, and dresses. In my casual, cool mom look above, I paired the laser-cut Elison booties with a pair of denim shorts and a baseball tee. It gives the look some edge and style! The dark silver color is surprisingly versatile. I consider metallics to be neutrals like a black or beige. The color really does go with everything!

Vince Camuto Handbags

I actually have never owned a Vince Camuto handbag so I was thrilled to get this Narra Tote! It’s a light glittery silver color called, silver cloud. This wonderful color is much like the dark silver booties, it will literally go with everything! This bag is a great size and will hold all your essentials, plus a lot more! It has top handles that will easily go over your shoulder. There is also a crossbody strap which you can see above. The leather is soft and slouchy so the bag really rests nicely against your body. I think if you are looking for a fab, versatile, everyday bag for the season, this is a terrific option!
