The Best Running Watch!

If you have been on the hunt for an amazing exercise/running watch, your search is officially over. This is it! The Fitbit Versa Smartwatch pretty much does everything from monitoring your heart race to mile splits, it even gives you access to apps like Pandora!

And, the Fitbit Versa Smartwatch is the TSV (Today’s Special Value) on QVC! It is marked down to$179.95 (from $229.99) The TSV price expires on the 28th, so don’t drag your heels if you need a fitness watch.

Before I dive more into what the watch does, I just wanted to thank QVC for compensating me for this post. It’s funny because I was thinking, geez, my Apple Watch isn’t the greatest for running and the battery dies so quickly, and the next thing I know… I have an email in my inbox from QVC about this watch!

Running at Altitude

It’s been a long time since I’ve been a runner. I ran and ran in my early 30’s and then I just stopped… for like 13 years! Shortly after we moved to Telluride, Colorado, I started running again. I wanted to reconnect with the sport. Running was about pain before, and now… it’s more about freedom. Well, freedom and pain. Let’s be real. Cause running is always hard, but running at altitude, 9,000+ feet is a whole other level!!!

I am so consumed with being able to breathe that I don’t have the brain power to calculate distance or splits or really anything. This Fitbit Versa watch does all of the heavy lifting for me… so I can focus on breathing. Ha! (You think I’m exaggerating. I’m serious.) Let me put this another way….it’s so high here, they sell oxygen at the grocery store!

Fitbit Versa Smartwatch

The best thing about the Fitbit Versa Smartwatch, in my opinion, is the battery life. It lasts for up to 4 DAYS. I was running with a different watch before, and I would have to charge it daily. I would inevitably forget, and then get so frustrated that it wasn’t charged.

Fitbit also has access to apps including one of the most important apps for me, Pandora! I can play my Thumbprint Radio station online or offline and listen to all my favorites while I run.

You can also store and play 300+ songs on your watch. You have to sync these from your desktop.

Connectivity

It’s REALLY easy to connect your Fitbit Versa watch to your Bluetooth headphones. I use the Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones. It took me about five minutes to connect the headphones. (Check out some noise canceling headphones here)

You can also see where you hiked, biked or ran by connecting GPS. You can get a map of your route via the Fitbit app.

The watch will also sync your stats wirelessly and automatically to your computer and your iOS, Android and Windows devices.

Not Just For Running

There are 15+ exercise modes so you can track workouts in specific modes like bike, weights or run… to see real-time results on the watch face and get your post-workout summaries. Swimmers can track laps in the pool. The watch is water resistant.

And, of course, your daily activity will be recorded. So all your steps, your heart rate, floors climbed, calories burned, etc.

Watchband

The watch face comes in three colors, black (pictured), rose gold and silver. You get one extra watchband too! I got the periwinkle band in case I want to mix things up. Other colors include: Grey, Peach, and White

My wrists are pretty small and this doesn’t feel heavy or overwhelming. It’s a great size with a screen that is easy to see and read.

Other Features

The watch has SO many other features, I feel like I’m only just scratching the surface. I would like to do more of a deep dive into the heart rate. You can also track sleep patterns, calorie burn, and cardio fitness level.

As a reminder, the TSV price of $179.95 (23rd – 28th) includes free shipping and handling. This is the first time this watch is on sale!! Yay! I suggest getting expedited shipping if you need the watch soon. Regular shipping with QVC can take about a week and a half, to two weeks.  QVC ships all over the world. For select items, you can also use Easy Pay and split your payments, over a longer period of time at no additional charge.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks again to QVC for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you so much for stopping by…

The photo of you in the green outfit with your hands up near your head is awesome. you should print and frame it and hang it in your house someplace.

Haha… I probably won’t, but you are sweet. I feel like I don’t have much hanging space in this house. Barely have photos of the kiddos.
