Stylish Puffer Coats
A puffer coat or jacket is a must-have here in Telluride during the winter months. Well, who am I kidding, you can pretty much wear a puffer year-round here. I’m basically a puffer expert now. I know EVERY brand and I’ve tried most of them. Not all of them look super stylish and that’s the tricky part. Below, you’ll find three of my favorite puffers for this winter! #1 | Houndstooth Puffer Jacket
How fun is this houndstooth puffer jacket!? Houndstooth has always been a favorite print of mine so when I saw this puffer by Perfect Moment I knew I had to have it! Perfect Moment is a sportswear brand that has a bunch of amazing ski gear for any of you who may be planning a ski trip. You can find more stylish ski gear in this post. This puffer is chic, super warm, and serves as a ski jacket and an everyday jacket. Under the puffer, I’m wearing a cashmere turtleneck sweater. Lightweight cashmere sweaters are a go-to layer for me because they are warm, soft and do not add bulk. I share one of my favorite cashmere sweater lines (that’s also affordable) in this post. My skinny jeans are the rocket leatherette skinny jeans by Citizens of Humanity. They’re really chic and perfect for winter! They run REALLY long so I just chopped my off with a pair of scissors. It’s a scary, but super easy DIY project to make your jeans the exact right length for your legs. On my feet, I have on some comfortable and warm wedge booties by Ugg.

#2 | Herno Puffer Coat
Herno is definitely expensive, but the quality is unbeatable! The brand is a local favorite. If you walk down the streets of Telluride, you will most likely see a woman wearing a Herno puffer. This exact puffer is SUPER warm, but also not that bulky so I can layer this easily under a wool or cashmere coat when I want to look a bit more sophisticated, but stay warm. I also love that it’s longer so it keeps more of my body warm! This is especially great if we walk to dinner or ride the gondola to dinner. Your bum can get SO cold with a shorter jacket.

#3 | Ralph Lauren Puffer Coat
This Ralph Lauren puffer coat is new to my wardrobe and I love it! It’s another one that is warm, but also lightweight so you don’t feel too puffy wearing it. The length is great for keeping my whole body toasty! I also love that it has a hood!
