15 of the BEST Straw Hats for Summer!

When Life Returns to Normal…

At some point, we will all leave our homes and step outside in the sun. When we do, we need to make sure we stay sun-safe, and stylish of course! One of the simple ways you can do that is to wear a cute straw hat!

I rounded up 15 of my favorites below.

Hello Sunshine!

How cute is this Hello Sunshine hat!? I love the pink writing and wider brim for maximum sun protection. You can find hats like these with fun saying all over Etsy. Including things like “Out Of Office” or “Living My Best Life.” You need to have one of these at the ready so that when our shelter in place order is finished, we can hit the beach!

I linked some similar options for you to check out. And you can find our top 15 fun hat finds below!

Packable Hats

Being protected by the sun and looking stylish are a must. But another thing I look for when shopping for hats is if it’s packable! (Cause we WILL travel again). I don’t like it when my hats get squished and lose their shape.

#1, #2, and #3 all check that box. #1 is the most affordable option and comes in three colors. #2 is a packable fedora by Rag & Bone that I love! And #3 is actually a hybrid fedora visor! How cool!

Oversized Hats

Like I said, maximum protection is key! And the bigger the hat, the more surface area covered by the sun! All three of the hats in the second row are oversized so you have plenty of sun protection. #4 is by Hat Attack, #5 is a floppy hat by Melissa Odabash, and #6 is a cool cone-shaped hat by Jacquemus.

Visors

I like to wear my hair up at the beach. But a high ponytail or bun doesn’t work with a normal hat. So visors are the answer! You can get a normal hat that just has the top missing, like #7. Or go with a full-on straw visor like #8. #9 is perfect for travel because it rolls up while you’re not using it!

Detailed Hats

The next three hats have fun details or colors. If you already have a basic hat for the beach and want something with a little more oompf, these are the hats for you! #10 has beautiful seashell details that would be perfect for the beach! #11 add a pop of color with a fun orange band. And #12 adds that pop of color in a subtler way with the striped lavender band underneath the floppy brim.

Straw Hats

These hats have intricate details like laser cutouts or braided trim. #13 has a braided band around it to add a more western feel. #14 is such a pretty beige and I love the details on it! #15 has a fun raw hem and laser-cut details. You can shop more of my favorites below!
