Boots and Booties Under $100!
Black Boots and Booties
Una Pointed Toe Bootie
I’m wearing the Louise et Cie Booties in the cover picture, but those have since sold out. This pointed toe bootie from New York and Company is extremely similar, and for only $50! The sleek exterior and slight croc-embossed panel makes this them perfect pair for adding to different outfits. These shoes are hard to come by though, so if you don’t find your size, don’t get discourged! There are still a lot of options to look through.
Jozie Bootie
These $80 booties are great when you want a sophisticated heel without having to sacrifice comfort. The pair has a 3″ chunky heel for added height, and a comfortable almond toe so your feet have room to breathe throughout the day. It’s a versatile pair that seamlessly blend into various outfits, but you don’t have that off-balance feeling that you may experience with other, thinner, 3″ heels.
Arazio Kitten Heel Bootie
There’s no outfit a chic kitten heel can’t fix, right? Especially when they’re up to 50% off. Coming in as another stylish black bootie option, these kitten heel booties seamlessly blend style and comfort. They have a 2″ heel with a side zip closure for an easy on and off wear. The elongated toe is smooth and refined with a sleek shape that avoids feeling too long or pointed. These booties can compliment any outfit from work casual looks to elegant dinners or outings.
Brinwood Slouchy Bootie
Slouchy booties are versatile, comfortable, and stylish. They work wonders for dressing a casual outfit up, or complimenting an already dressier look. Sitting at $95, these Steve Madden booties are a catch. They have a 2 1/4″ heel for a comfortable wear, and their pull on style eliminates any need for zippers, buttons, or clasps. It’s the perfect monochromatic option for elevating any of your looks.
These black booties from Dolce Vita look like they’d be over budget, when in fact, they’re only $99! Right on the cusp, but we’re making it work. The pointed toe and stacked block heel is classic and timeless, and the gold embellishment along the front makes the shoe appear luxorious and expensive. This is a pair of booties that stand out among the rest.
Brown Boots and Booties
Alicia Bootie
These $44 rust pecan booties are IT. Brown boots are fun to incorporate to your wardrobe because they’re extremely versatile and can add another neutral color to any look. These boots in particular have a 3″ block heel with a side zip closure for a comfortable, breathable wear. The suede is a great go-to option when you’re looking to dress up outfits in the cooler months.
At first glance, these $74 deep pecan booties almost have a burgundy hue to them. They’re considered a luxe, sleek brown, but the undertones allow you to pair them with different looks for a unique pop of color. The 2 1/4″ kitten heel can take you from work days to happy hour seamlessly, blending perfectly with daytime to nighttime looks.
Kindy Pointed Toe Boot
If you loved the black slouchy boots from earlier, don’t worry, I found a rust bisque color for just $99! The rich brown tone of the boots and comfortable 2 1/4″ kitten heel make this pair a heavy hitter. And because slouchy boots are slimmer in the calves, these are boots you can add under jeans, tailored trousers, or maxi skirts without worrying about any frumpiness or excessive bulk.
Vianca Bootie
These brown creamy suede boots combine a square toe with a 2″ block heel for a boot that exudes luxury and elegance. It’s not a shoe that you’ll feel too dressed up in, but you also don’t have to worry about them looking basic and boring. At $72, these heels will instantly become a wardrobe staple.
Leoncio Snakeskin Embossed Bootie
These snakeskin boots from Azalea Wang are everything you need and more when you want to spice an outfit up through your shoes. They blend a pale brown with a deeper, richer brown for the perfect neutral, light pastel brown bootie. This bootie is designed with a 2 1/2″ heel and a side zip closure for effortless outfit pairings for all different kinds of aesthetics.
Dressier Boots
Kora Tall Boot
On occassions where you want a dressier boot and an ankle-length option isn’t cutting it, that’s what tall boots are for! These Nordstrom knee-length boots have a pointy toe and slim heel to help make a regular outfit more polished and put-together. For just $84, these 2 1/2 inch heels can take you from Point A to Point B effortlessly.
I’m a big fan of croc-embossed heels because they maintain the sleekness of your traditional black bootie, but the texture adds depth and an eye-catching focal point. These Marc Fisher heels are perfect for showing off at dressier events. The 3″ heel adds a signficant amount of height, but the thicker, angeled heel maintains balance.
Coming in with another knee-high boot, this pair form Steve Madden is featured in a lighter taupe suede, which I feel like is hard to come by! When you do find a lighter tone suede boot, they’re usually pretty expesnive. These 2″ heels on the otherhand are only $76. The slender square toe and blade heel blend traditional design with modern features perfectly.
These booties give off the same vibe as regular pointed toe pumps, they just bring a fun flair to them with their slightly risen ankle-length style. This is a great pair if you aren’t a huge fan of the way booties feel or look, but you want to change your wardrobe up a bit. With a 2 3/4″ heel and a back zip closure, these $60 boots are a game-changer.
Chelsea and Combat Boots
Enya Chelsea Boot
These $40 Chelsea boots combine suede, calfskin leather, and a balanced block heel for a refined shoe that makes it a wardrobe essential. It’s a modern take on what a traditional Chelsea boot typically looks like, so it’s a great way to add a contemporary touch onto a classic look.
Combat boots are the edgier older sister to the Chelsea boots, which is what makes them exciting to pair with various looks. It brings a spontaneous addition to any look you pair them with. With a slightly raised 1 1/4″ heel and 1/2″ platform, you still get the benefit of added height. For $78, you can’t find a better budget-friendly combat boot.
Idalia Lace-Up Platform Bootie
If you’re not quite ready to leap into the edgy shoe wear just yet, you may enjoy these lace-up platform booties more. They have the same design as a traditonal, stylish combat boot, but they feature a 2 1/2″ heel for a touch of refinement and sophistication. It’s a perfect balance between a classic combat boot and a polished black ankle boot.
Waterproof Boots
Living in Telluride, Colorado, I know a thing or two about needing to dress for cold and wet conditions. These $80 waterproof booties from Blondo are a super impressive and stylish pair to incorporate into your shoe closet. They’re the perfect bootie for wearing on days where you want to dress elevated and put-together, but you don’t want to ruin any good shoes while you’re at it.
Waterproof Wedge Bootie
Another waterproof bootie for you, except this one features a wedge design rather than a classic heel or thick platform. The waterproof leather ensures that you can wear these booties out without sacrificing their quality or lifespan. They do have a 2 1/2″ heel, so just be mindful if you aren’t confident in wearing heels in the rain or snow!
Outfits With Boots
Classic Meets Modern
Pair sleek black slouchy boots with tailored trousers and structured blazer for an outfit that blends timeless elegance and modern fashion wonderfully. It’s an easy way to look polished and refined, without feeling like you’re too dressed up.
Edgy Glam
Dress up a pair of ankle boots with faux leather leggings and a cashmere sweater. This is an outfit that will keep your silhouette nice and structured while you make a fashion statement. You can even layer with a stylish moto jacket that keeps your outfit blended and cohesive.
Luxe Pairing
On the days where you want to bring a little more elegance to the table, you can’t go wrong with wearing a skirt with a pair of shorter ankle boots. As long as they’re shorter than the hemline of your skirt, you’re in the clear. Wear a silk tank top in the same color family as your skirt for a beautiful monochromatic look.
Statement Style
Like I said before, Chelsea boots are fabulous for creating an eye-catching look that isn’t quite as daring as a combat boot may be, but it’s still modern and put-together, nonetheless. For a laid-back statement ensemble, wear faux leather leggings or jeans with an oversized sweater tucked in.
Business Casual
I have tons of business-causal looks on my page because it’s a versatile look that’s fitting for any up-scale environment. Try wearing a block-heeled boot with wide leg trousers and a tucked-in silk blouse. There are tons of ways to accessorize for a little personal style flair.
How Should Boots Fit?
- Double-check the toe box. When you want a good pair of boots, make sure that your toes aren’t too close or too far away from the toe box. If it feels like you have too much wiggle room, or zero wiggle room at all, then you’ve got the wrong size.
- They should be snug around your ankles. While you don’t want your toes too snug in your shoes, the boot should feel slightly snug around your ankles. A boot that has too wide of an ankle can rub against you and create blisters.
- Feel fit matters! Your heel should stay in place in your boots with little movement when walking. A little bit of a slip back and forth is normal, but if you’re slipping and sliding all around the inside of your shoe, this can be a sign that the boots are too big.
- They will stretch over time. The more you wear your boots, the more they’ll stretch and become accustomed to your feet. Don’t panic if your new boots are just slightly snug. Chances are, they’ll stretch within a few wears!
- Your boots should accommodate your socks. When you get a new pair of boots, always try them on with the socks style you plan to wear them with. This helps you get a good idea of how they’ll truly fit on a day-to-day basis.
