Look Expensive Without The Price Tag!
If I ask you what THE MOST recognizable, luxury fashion brand is… most of you will likely say, “Chanel.” It’s the brand many women aspire to own and wear. I know I do. However… most of us are deterred by the SUPER expensive prices!
In this post, I’m so excited to share a beautiful Chanel-like look that is also very affordable.
In case you missed it, make sure you check out this post with 5 simple ways to look more expensive!
How To Get The Chanel Look
To achieve a quintessential Chanel look, there are three main elements:
1) Wear classic colors
2) Pearls are a must
3) Consider tweed or wool
4) A red lip is always a plus!

The Look
This gorgeous & Other Stories dress from Nordstrom may be one of my new favorites! The pleated skirt is chic and on-trend this season. I love the classic contrasting white collar against the black. But the best part is the small pearl buttons! They add the perfect amount of femininity to the dress and really help pull off that Chanel-like look.
I styled the dress with some printed tights and my favorite black pointed-toe booties by Schutz. The suede is sold out but they now come in a leather version, which I think is even better because they’re easier to care for and would work perfectly with this outfit! You could also wear some classic black pointed-toe pumps or flats. The tights I’m wearing have a pattern but if you want to go for an even more classic look, you can do normal sheer tights. And to really complete the Chanel-like look, I decided to go with bright red lipstick!
