These 10 Sexy, Yet Wearable Fall Dresses Will No-Doubt Turn Heads

Now, that I’m 47, I feel more confident than ever. Wearing an occasional head-turner is FUN and a reminder that… you still got it! If you are over 40, I know you understand what I’m talking about. It serves as a reminder to yourself that you can still turn it up in the style department! And that perhaps, despite our age, ridiculous schedules, and overall fatigue from our thousand roles, we still have a little hotness.

You may be thinking, “Okay, but how do I do that in the fall? Doesn’t a dress have to show a TON of skin to be a head-turner?” No. No, it doesn’t. Sexy can be different things to different people. A dress can still be really sexy and be midi length or have sleeves or something you can wear with a regular bra. It’s tougher to find those dresses, but that’s why I’m here!! My goal is always to make your life… simpler.

Below, I’m sharing some of the sexy, standout dresses I found for fall that don’t let it all hang out. But, rather, they are chic, sophisticated …and still insanely sexy!!

Maje Satin Dress

This first dress by Maje is perfect for transitioning into fall. We’re living in Spain right now so the climate is warmer than what we’re used to in Colorado and I can still wear shorter dresses (yay!). This dress is SO chic. I love how breezy it is, the satin material is gorgeous, and it’s very lightweight. The color is also beautiful. I love how the smocking is above the natural waist and just under the bust, highlighting that slim area on a woman’s body often referred to as the empire waist. This dress is selling out fast in this color but it’s also available in dark green and brown shades that are both beautiful.
You could easily dress this up with a pair of heels but I decided to mix the feminine dress with a pair of more masculine combat boots by Steve Madden. You may remember these from the NSale and this post. They’re edgy, comfortable, have a chunky lug sole that’s super on-trend right now), and they’re more versatile than you think! They are also much easier to walk in than heels.
