Elegant Loungewear Outfit
I know the title of this post may be confusing. You’re like, really? Loungewear in public?? Most of us hang out at home in our loungewear, activewear, or some combination of the two, but rarely do we dare leave the house wearing such casual clothes. But, after quarantine and so many of us still working from home, the line between casual loungewear and everyday style is blurring. It’s actually one of the big fall trends this year. And I’m here for it! Fashionable comfort? I’m in!
As with anything else in my wardrobe, I want my loungewear to be cute. I want to feel really good about wearing it! Not frumpy and sloppy. I want to be able to jet out to run errands if I need to. I also think this is one of those clothing categories that every woman appreciates but doesn’t necessarily want to spend money on it. Am I right? Can you relate? I wanted to share a really chic and lovely loungewear set that I actually wore as a travel look. So many of you messaged me telling me how much you LOVED this look! So I thought it deserved an entire, dedicated post…
Ivory Lounge Set
Remember this post on Instagram? I was headed to London for a weekend trip with my family and so many of you commented saying that you were going to order this exact look for your next travel day. While it does make the perfect travel outfit, it’s also the perfect elegant loungewear outfit that you can definitely wear in public!
It’s soooo chic, looks luxe, and the best part…it’s affordable! The wide-leg, knit palazzo pants are super comfortable, flattering, and soft. They have a drawstring waist, and the length is perfect on me while wearing flats (I’m 5’4”). The matching sleeveless turtleneck is equally as cute and comfy. But you could also style it with jeans or a maxi skirt if you wanted. For travel, I threw on a really chic trench, but your third layer can be something like this gorgeous ivory moto or camel coat.
