If you saw the movie, “The Devil Wears Prada,” you’ll remember the moment when Anne Hathaway’s character, Ahnn-dreee-uh, transforms from the budding journalist who doesn’t care about fashion… into a fashion goddess clad in Chanel. Â She looked amazing!
The look was super sexy and yet, ladylike. A great mix.
My version (below) includes the over-the-knee boots (key), short black skirt, the off shoulder black top layered over the white button down. I added the bright pink cocoon coat from Asos.com.
I wore this out to dinner. I think it would be great for a fun, holiday event or a dinner date. Please do not attempt to wear this to work. đ
For a less sexy, fool-proof option, swap the skirt with skinny jeans. Make sure your jeans are a little lighter than the boots so people can still see the boots, but dark enough to keep you looking tall and skinny!
