“Sound of Music” Tour in Austria
…That is one of my favorite songs from the movie musical, “The Sound Of Music,”
I actually went on the official “Sound of Music” tour in Austria.
During the tour, I asked the tour guide, “What is the most outrageous thing you have seen on the tour?”
“A woman crying” he replied. “I’m not sure whey you would cry.”
I’m not sure either, but somewhere between the hills and the Von Trapp family home, I’m embarrassed to admit…
I bawled like a baby.
I’m still hoping my husband didn’t notice. Or maybe he did and was too embarrassed to mention it.
For better or worse, I always think of that song when I think of my favorite things.
