Organization Must-Haves
When the new year hits and you’re bombarded with tons of tasks and to-do’s after the holidays… organization is key. And, no I do NOT think it’s too late to invest in a great planner. I often only begin to get organized in February. 😉 Below are some tips to help you set plans and schedules in place to keep you more organized this year.
I personally like to have a small planner that I keep in my bag, a larger planner I keep at home, and a to-do list notepad to help with day to day organization. I also like to keep a lot of information in my Google iPhone calendar but I know that’s not for everyone! Now…I know this may seem like a lot, but it really does make life a lot easier! You can shop my favorite planners, desk calendars, and notepads below.
Planners
For planners, I personally like one with the monthly view AND a weekly view. On the monthly layout, I like to write down big events like dinner parties, birthdays, doctor appointments, travel plans, etc. Then I use the weekly layout for smaller tasks or to add more detail. The Erin Condren planners are popular and I like that you can customize these so they are exactly what you want. Post-Its are always handy with your planner too. It makes it easier to move things around when I am planning ahead.
Desk Calendars
For aesthetics, and quick reference, I like to add a pretty stand up calendar on my desk or in the kitchen. This one from by Karen Adams is lovely. I also like huge whiteboard calendars for the family. These are great so the whole family can write in activities. It’s easy to see the schedule and you can easily erase things as needed.
To-Do Lists
I also love to make daily to-do lists to stay on track. This notebook is super cute and Prime eligible.
