Why You Need Some Houndstooth In Your Life
I see a lot of women reaching for paisley print. Not that there is anything wrong with paisley, but it is REALLY easy to get that print wrong. It can age you and look inexpensive. Houndstooth is one of those prints that is very sophisticated and difficult to mess up.
I know wearing prints can be challenging. The simplest way to wear a standout print is to pick one piece, in one print, and keep everything else neutral. Take my look above, for example. I’m wearing a beautiful houndstooth coat by Joie (on sale for $150), and the rest of my look is neutral and basic. This formula is incredibly easy to recreate, and oh so chic! This coat is final sale only. It runs true to size and is a lighter topper that you can wear into spring.

HOUNDSTOOTH IS MY FAVORITE PATTERN!! eVERY TIME I WEAR IT, I GET COMPLIMENTS. i THINK THAT HOUNDSTOOTH COAT IS FAB!!! iF I DIDN’T HAVE OVER A DOZEN COATS ALREADY, I’D JUMP ON THAT. BUT, MY HUSBAND IS ALREADY COMPLAINING THAT MY COATS HAVE OVERTAKEN THE COAT CLOSET! BEST INVESTMENT I MADE WAS GETTING A CLASSIC BLAZER IN HOUNDSTOOTH. ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE COLOR PAIRINGS IS A BRIGHT YELLOW SHIRT, THE BLAZER AND SIMPLE BLACK TROUSERS. oNCE i WORE THAT OUTFIT WITH RED, SIMPLE HEELS. i HAD CO-WORKERS FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS COME TO TAKE A LOOK AT ME IN MY ENSEMBLE!

I have a houndstooth coat that i bought years ago but it is now way too big even to be oversized. Still hanging in my closet because i loved it and can’t bear to part with it.
