Wearing Red Booties
I talked about White Booties and white mules, another RED hot Fall Fashion Trend is… red boots and booties!
You can also rock some embroidered or floral print boots, but this will depend largely on your style.
For example, I feel much more comfortable in white or red booties than floral.
These red booties (above) are by Dolce Vita. Dolce Vita deserves more praise…
They are AS comfortable as Sam Edelman or Vince Camuto, and often a little less expensive.
I think you should add this brand to your regular shoe searches.
(Be sure to check out these awesome star booties!)
These red booties have a VERY manageable heel (about 1 1/2 inches). They are wider around the ankle so your skinny jeans will easily tuck into them.
You could also try a more fitted ‘sock’ bootie style, like this pair here.

Styling These Boots
I know some of you will ask if this color will, ‘cut you off’ or make your legs look shorter…
Yes, they will, so I would keep the rest of your look simple and monochromatic, like my denim on denim option above.
You should also keep the rest of your look pretty quite since these boots REALLY make a statement.
I paired this look with my plaid duster coat at night to keep warm.
I’ve talked about this line before, Bella Dahl, but it’s been a while.
They are SOOOOOO soft, ridiculously soft. And, the fabric is so fluid, the fit looks amazing too!
You will also love the longer back to cover your bum.
This exact top is no longer available, but I linked you to some that are even better below.
These jeans are from American Eagle. I ordered a couple of pairs from AE this year and I’ve been VERY happy with them!
They are edgy and fun, super comfortable and the price is also amazing!
This exact pair is sold out, but I LOVE this similar cropped pair, which I’m about to order (size down).

Wearing skinny jeans with ankle boots can no doubt be tricky. I did a VIDEO tutorial here.
