Long Skirts For Women Over 40!
How many of you are skirt people?? You love …and live in skirts? Well, I’m pretty much the opposite. I hardly wear skirts. My style uniform normally consists of jeans and a cute top. But…recently I was inspired to order a few skirts and… I’m absolutely loving them! I’m actually wearing the three skirts below on our family cross-country road trip more than my jeans or jean shorts which is really saying something.

Skirt #1) Alice + Olivia Asymmetrical Skirt
You may have seen this skirt on Instagram. It’s super cute and the last time I checked, it was on major sale! It’s by Alice + Olivia, vegan leather, and has a cool asymmetrical hemline. It has a billowy fit so it’s not as hot as you might think. I paired it with a cool, elevated white tee by Nation LTD. I love the ruffled shoulders! I’ve worn this look twice now…once with some cool See by Chloe espadrille wedges and a pair of sparkly Golden Goose sneakers. If you missed my post on if these sneakers are worth the money, you can check that out here.
Skirt #2) Printed Pleated Skirt
The next skirt is also by Alice + Olivia and it’s gorgeous! I love the unique print, pleating, and dramatic maxi length. Like I always say…I like drama with my clothes, not my life! It’s hard to tell in the photos but this skirt also has an asymmetrical hemline. And it’s flowy so it’s not too hot. I styled it with a sexy black bodysuit by Free People. This bodysuit has a wire v-neck so it’s lower cut but you feel very secure because of the wiring. You can wear it without a bra and the bodysuit itself fits really well (unlike many bodysuits out there). It also comes in white! If you don’t like bodysuits, you could easily style this with a black cropped top or tee. I’m wearing it with sneakers but you could also dress it up with wedges.

Skirt #3) Full Embroided Skirt
This embroidered skirt is also by Alice & Olivia and it’s So pretty! I love the pattern and am so excited to wear it in Spain! The fuller A-line silhouette and thick waistband make it very flattering. I styled it the same ruffled top by Nation LTD from the first look and a pair of espadrille wedges by See by Chloe.
