3 Easily Recreated Meghan Markle Looks

Royal Style Revealed – 3 Recreated Meghan Markle Looks

Are you a fan of the Duchess of Sussex like I am!? Meghan Markle has such an effortless and lovely style. She never looks too done or fussy. She always wears pieces that are accessible and flatter her frame. Every time she wears something, it sells out almost immediately. Designers even name pieces after her. She is no doubt a style icon of our time. As part of my new video series, I’m recreating outfits that celebrities and other notable women are wearing. I wanted to kick off this series featuring the Duchess.

You can watch the video version here.

Meghan Markle Look #1 | Brown Monochrome

I love how Meghan chose to do a monochromatic look featuring brown tones! She wore a silky brown midi skirt, chocolatey brown turtleneck sweater, and brown pumps. You may remember I’ve been wearing more brown tones lately. So recreating this outfit was right up my alley.

I recreated the look by wearing some silky brown bucket waist pants by Amanda Uprichard and paired them with the matching brown top. This top has a keyhole front so I’m wearing it backwards to create a longer line. I added my (reversible) Valentino belt and some black Sam Edelman pumps because I actually don’t have brown ones! These pumps are very manageable and perfect for women who work in offices or just want comfy pumps!

You probably don’t have a matching brown outfit in your closet like this one. So instead, think about wearing a camel sweater with brown pants or just recreate the look however you can…using pieces you already have in your closet.

Meghan Markle Look #2 | Casual Style Uniform

I was so happy to see Meghan Markle wearing an outfit like this…it’s my style uniform! Jeans, a white button-down, and flats! Comfortable, practical, and stylish…everything you could want in an outfit.

I recreated the look by wearing some similar distressed jeans by Moussy Vintage, a white button-down by Frank & Eileen, leopard print flats by Sam Edelman, and a brown oversized tote. Notice how she styled the shirt by cuffing the arms and tucking it in. I shared how to do those seemingly small, but important style tricks in this video.

Meghan Markle Look #3 | Modern Black & White

In this last look, Meghan Markle is wearing a super chic and modern, black and white outfit. She has on a black turtleneck, white pinstriped blazer, black skinny jeans, Aquazurra pumps, and a black and white striped bag.

To recreate the look I’m wearing a cool turtleneck sweater by ASTR The Label. It has an edgy cutout detail on the shoulder and it’s super affordable. Over that, I’m wearing an older white Veronica Beard blazer that’s sold out. But this Lioness blazer is very similar and under $100. Instead of plain black skinny jeans, I went with coated jeans to add some interest and dimension. These are the amazing White House Black Market pants that I called a style unicorn. On my feet, I’m wearing my favorite Jimmy Choo pumps. And the bag I’m carrying is by Staud. You may remember it from my post with tips on how to mix prints and look modern.
