It’s that time my fellow fashionistas…time to talk about the Super Bowl of sales…the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This year, I’m only sharing the best of the best—those true ‘diamond in the rough’ finds. Because I know you don’t necessary need more clothes, but more of what you actually love wearing.
I’m here to simplify the sale and do the heavy lifting, so you don’t have to!
In case you’re new to the sale and are wondering what all the buzz is about, let me break it down. This is one of the best sales of the year – where fall and winter pieces go on sale before the season even starts. Think boots, coats, denim… all up to 40% off.
It’s not end-of-season leftovers. These are brand-new arrivals from some of your favorite brands, discounted before they even hit full price.

WHAT:
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026 is the biggest sale of the year because it’s the only sale where FALL clothes, shoes, and accessories go on sale BEFORE the season even starts!
WHEN:
The digital catalog comes out in late June! We will share our favorite finds as soon as that comes out so you can bookmark your favorites before the big day.
Here’s all the key dates:
July 14: Early access begins for Icon status
July 15: Access opens for Ambassador status
July 16: Access opens for Influencer status
July 18th – August 9th: Open to ALL
PRO TIP:
If you want to shop the sale early, you’ll need a Nordstrom credit card. It’s quick to apply right here, and gives you early access before the sale opens to the public. Up to you, obviously, but since this is one of the best ways to get what you want AND (hopefully) be less disappointed by sellouts.
Depending on your status, you can shop the sale at 12:01 am ET / 9:01 pm PT on your designated shopping start date ONLINE or in stores during normal business hours.

Remember, I’ve been covering and shopping this sale for over a decade. I can tell pretty quickly what is worth your time and what isn’t. As the sale has grown in popularity, so has the number of people covering it. I’m here for YOU. I only recommend staples that I think will really serve a purpose in your wardrobe OR are a style standout I think you’ll love wearing.
What I’m Buying
Remember I shop for a living, so I’m mostly looking for those special style standouts, not basics. My favorite things to buy are jackets, coats, booties and jeans. I DO love getting a jump on my fall wardrobe.
Coats
The NSale is the best time of year to invest in outerwear – you’re getting brand new fall arrivals at up to 40% off before prices go back up. I focus on classic neutrals in quality fabrics that will last for years.
Jeans
Denim is always one of my top NSale categories. This IS the time to invest in that pair of designer jeans that will last for years. Brands like Mother, Rag & Bone, FRAME are some of my favorites and definitely worth investing in, especially on sale.
Shoes & Boots
Boots are the star of this sale every single year. Brand new fall styles at up to 40% off. Shop this category first, your size will sell out fast. Look for chic sneakers for fall or update your bootie collection with a black block heel bootie you’ll wear on repeat.
Sweaters & Jackets
This is where I look for elevated basics – think cashmere, wool, and alpaca blends in versatile neutrals that will anchor your fall wardrobe. And, again, last for years. It’s also a great opportunity to pick up a trendy fall jacket you don’t want to pay full price for.
Dresses
I find that most of the dresses, are buy now, wear now. If you want to inject a little freshness into your summer wardrobe, why not save some money too?
Accessories
No sizing stress here, just beautiful pieces that finish an outfit. Accessories are one of the smartest NSale buys that can easily transform any outfit.
Under $150
These are my picks for maximum impact at lower, more affordable prices. These are the pieces that look far more expensive than they are.
Likely to Sell Out
These are the pieces I’d grab the second your access window opens. These are the styles that historically disappear during Early Access before the public ever gets a chance. Don’t overthink it, don’t wait, just add to cart.

NSale FAQ & Shopping Tips
This is a highly shopped sale and many products sell out quickly. I’ll work to keep my picks updated here on the site, but I’ll also have a few tips and answer your most frequently asked questions surrounding the sale.
Will items be restocked?
Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing when or if sold-out items will be restocked. But I have tips below on how to snag some items when they come back…
Why was my order canceled?
When the sale goes live, sometimes an order will go through but you’ll get an email later that an item or your entire order has been canceled. The best thing you can do is contact Nordstrom Customer Service here by calling or starting an online chat.

Why isn’t the website working?
Each time a new tier opens up for the sale, there is a massive number of people visiting the Nordstrom website, which slows it down and creates an issue/error page. Don’t panic, be patient, and continue to refresh the page until you’re able to get through or the Nordstrom team can fix the problem.
What’s the best way to make sure I get what I want?
Buy high-demand items as soon as your tier becomes eligible to shop. You can check out multiple times so as soon as you have those items in your basket, check out…before you browse!
Should I order online or pickup in store?
DO NOT do order pickup in-store for anything popular. Your order will be filled after online orders and in-store purchases. Many of these items end up getting canceled. You can certainly do this for staples that don’t typically sell out.
What should I do if the piece I want sells out before I can order it?
If you want something that is sold out, check on that item multiple times a day. Many items pop back in stock in one size just for a few minutes during the sale, usually due to returns.
What if I’m not sure about sizing?
Double check the size chart. I can’t emphasize this enough. You should know or learn your basic measurements, bust, waist and hips. If you are still unsure, buy 2 sizes! You can always return whichever size does not work. Returns are easy at Nordstrom.
What can I do in advance to prepare?
Know what day and time you can shop. Make sure you’re signed in to your Nordstrom account BEFORE you start shopping. And, add everything you’re interested in to your wishlist or cart in advance.
